Ignore the URL as I did not know what to put in there. But, I work in NJ and just got into a debate about Covid, masks, unvaccinated at work which turned into a yelling match. It's amazing how people are okay with vaccine passports, forced mask mandates and even wishing "will ill' on those not vaccinated. I was even called selfish for not wanting to wear a mask----"but I had Covid already"......That doesn't matter. They didn't even acknowledge that illegals coming in over the border unvaccinated was a problem. WTH, it's not even worth speaking to these woke idiots. I stayed calm but it escalated so incredibly fast when I simply didn't agree. BTW, I work in NJ, live in PA----is it this bad everywhere in the country? Give me some hope here....

Logical arguments can’t be used against someone who has been programmed into a state of mass hysteria. And there’s been a 18 months worth of programming.
A friend who has had cancer treatments has been told by all of his doctors to get vaccinated. He has something called mast cell activation (complex?) so he’s been in the emergency room numerous times with life threatening reactions to God-knows-what, but he says they swear it’s safe to get vaccinated. A buddy who is a 100% disabled vet is getting periodic calls to get vaccinated. He has declined as he’s concerned about his other health issues and, the people calling him seem unaware that he even has other issues. (Government contractors making the calls?)
I’m getting the stink eye from all these drones who are wearing masks. I even saw a t-shirt in large print stating, “I’m fully vaccinated.” He was wearing a mask. I told the total stranger who confronted me in a store about the mask, “It seems that if you’re wearing a mask you are protected from me not wearing one. Yes?” He rocked back and while he was thinking of how to respond I nodded goodbye and continued on my way.

It's that bad on Free Republic. There are several Vaxx Shills who have to hit up each of the Covid threads to express their sheer delight into shoving as much poison vaccines into every living arm and could care less how many deaths or the destruction the vaxx has created in many people's lives.
They than push statistics from the oh-so reliable CDC and VAERS database to revel in their superiority over the great unwashed and unvaccinated. They are truly despicable.
I live in an under-vaxed area of Missouri. People here are onery. St. Louis post dispatch had some reporter dude came down and wrote a bunch of stories about the refuseniks.
Water off a duck’s back. They are who they are and they ain’t changing just because some reporter writes a story or two.
I just avoid getting into discussions with strangers, most of the people I know see it similar to the way I do.
Then there’s my sister, lifetime hard core democrat, thinks I’m insane because I told her wearing a mask was about like using a chain link fence to stop mosquitoes....it would have turned into a screaming match, but I just said whatever and dropped it.
Should have seen the dagger-eye I got when I called obama a liar...or the insults I got when I told her he was destroying the economy...

Can’t tell about cities that I avoid here in Texas, but smaller towns aren’t that way (yet?). However I have been trapped in ID10T conversations with leftists before on other subjects and it’s completely pointless. They lie to themselves and demand you validate their lie.

For instance, I was relating how Covid policies have killed more folks than the virus ever did. They immediately switch to this mantra that even if one person was killed by Covid, it is too much.
Then I countered that if you talk the nursing home deaths out of the picture, that it hardly is as bad as the flu. To that they call you a Hater, or a racist. or whatever name-calling they can come up with.
Lately, I have thought of telling them the Democratic Party is dying through Covid. That Democrats are fleeing the Democratic cities in Droves and that businesses are fleeing them even faster (and not planning to come back). But I suspect the Covid fear mongers will just pivot on me yet again.
So arguing with them is pointless. Go live your life and have fun. Have fun with your friends who do not want to talk about it either. Love those you love, and go on with your life.
Wasting time with the Covid fear mongers is for those who can get on them fast and who can outtalk them. I suspect you will have to call them Haters, fear mongers, racists and generally bad people first and shock them. But even then, I think they will go back to their swill in a day or two.

My job future down there is uncertain, so I hopefully can do rent-to-buy, with money I have from selling my house, if necessary. However, Xiden’s eviction moratorium extension may have screwed that all up.
The brainwash is very thorough and wide spread. Fear has a lot of power.
I have had good friends I have known for years who are educated and logical lash out at me for my five prong position on the vaccine.
It does not stop infection
It does not prevent spread of the infection
It has demonstrated immediate and unknown long term bad side effects
The difference in mortality between vaccinated and not is insignificant AND when compared to the seriousness of potential side effects and the FACT that taking the vaccine is IRREVERSIBLE I’ll take my chances without it.
Please tell me what advantage I have in taking the vaccine?
NOW, if treatment of unvaccinated people is denied or becomes too expensive the scene changes but I’ll probably still just take my chances and become even more isolated than I am normally and even before C19.
