What’s so unbelievable? Same thing happened to USA kids in the 1950s. Except our school didn’t have a stadium so we were all taken into the gym which was full of nurses and doctors who gave us the first ever polio shots. We didn’t have any parents around either.

And the nice policeman explained to the parents in Australia that the children would be perfectly safe - they will take good care of them.
