Maybe the phone calls and emails helped.

He was for it before he was against it.

I wrote him yesterday advising him to oppose it. Guess it worked... /s

I did so as well...all 18 "GOP" traitors. A lot of good it did. I happened to call Sullivan's office instead of email, and spoke to a young intern. The kid hadn't heard of half the stuff I told him about, including watching a Ben Bergquam report from the border, wherein you can see the human waste coming into our country with impunity. I gave him an appropriate URL to watch it. Obviously, Sullivan's office is not up on their info!

TOO LATE!

He already voted to enable the $1.2 trillion AND the $3.5 trillion bills. Both will pass and be signed.

And he knew it when he cast his first vote.

Remove the lying bastard.

“Cloture gives the Republicans the ability to debate and show the public what kind of pork is in the bill. This is important because it establishes what the Democrats are trying to put across in the bill.”

Your logic says to give them what they need and want, then excoriate them afterward as if you had nothing to do with it.

Stupid.

“They gave it the exposure that was necessary to gain public support. “

They advanced a $1.2 trillion bill which will have $3.5 trillion attached to it as part of it’s final passage.

Every one of them knew what they were doing.

That YOU didn’t know what was in it is irrelevant. That’s a reflection on you.

now that it has passed, this puke wants to keep his job. He has Dominion on his side but he still has to play the game so people don’t throw eggs/tomatoes at him.

You can tell John Cornyn is lying because his lips are moving. I have NEVER voted for that bag of excrement.

Cloture gives the Republicans the ability to debate and show the public what kind of pork is in the bill. This is important because it establishes what the Democrats are trying to put across in the bill.

Filibuster keeps the bill from becoming law to begin with. If Cornyn's problem is deficit spending then he wouldn't have helped run up the national debt another $6 trillion - plus over the last four years.

// He’s only opposing it now because he wants to keep his job.

He just got reelected (without my help). He’s good for several years, which is why he is acting as an assistant democrat again. He =says= ‘conservative’ things occasionally, but doesn’t act on them.

Hey Texas, when it mattered Cornyn made sure this bill made it through. Now in your huge state where long distance driving is the norm I guess you know who to thank for that new mileage tax you’ll be paying quarterly, on top of the gas taxes at the pump.

Both he and Flimsey Grahamnesty have been outspoken advocates of amnesty and a permanent Democrat majority and they were both re-elected despite Graham voting for Amnesty THREE times already.

The woman who ran against Cornhole last year was a train wreck of a candidate. At this point I wonder if the Uniparty ran her as a fake candidate just to make Cornhole look good by comparison.

One if the oldest trick they learned. These votes are predetermined by leadership, quietly go along to get their agenda advanced then when the vote won't kill their agenda let the guy from conservative state vote no, just for the campaign byte value.

Just like Hutchison (AD-TX) did to give us Obamacare. Needed that Debate (doesn’t that seem like that was valuable and memorable in the lens of history?) and to get home for Christmas and her ambition to run for Guv.

When it’s meaningless, oppose it, and then lie to your constituents and say you opposed it, when you actually pushed it over the hurdle.

NO, IT IS NOT A REFLECTION ON ME!

IT IS A REFLECTION ON THE NINTEEN STUPID, WEAK, WORTHLESS GOP SENATORS WHO VOTED ON IT.

THEY NEVER SHOULD HAVE VOTED FOR THAT MONSTOSITY AND THEY HAD EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO DO JUST THAT..VOTE NO, NO, NO, NINTEEN TIMES.

DON’T BLAME ME FOR THEIR TOTAL INCOMPETENCE.
