That’s what I’ve been asking. Where is the ACLU, where are all of the civil libertarians? Where are all the “question authority” where are all of the “don’t trust government” people? After a generation of public indoctrination at schools, everybody is just a mindless drone. They only know what comes across their phone as a headline.

Where the hell are our countercultural musicians who stood against the Veetnam War in the 1960s on the tyrannical lockdowns?
Where are these guys???

“I don’t care what it is, I hate to see animals hit by cars.”
Me too. I have stopped traffic for kittens, Turtles, even baby Goslings. They were so cute but I thought the parents might attack.
Despicable how they are treating these patriots
EXC: A Chinese Communist-Linked Group Is Partnering With American Schools To ‘Transform Education’ With ‘Social Justice’.
AUGUST 2, 2021NATALIE WINTERS
FTA
An Asia Society effort – advised by several Chinese Communist Party-linked individuals – has partnered with schools across the U.S. to shape curricula and teaching faculty to become consistent with a “social justice” approach to education that encourages “teaching activism” in favor of left-wing causes such as “equity,” “globalism,” and “unraveling systemic racism.”
Based in the U.S., the Asia Society describes its mission as “preparing Asians and Americans for a shared future” and is favored by current and former high-level Chinese Communist Party officials.
The group’s Center For Global Education outlines its mission as “transforming education to build a more just and equal society” and partners with schools and school districts throughout the U.S. to do so. The center is expected to reach 4,000,000 students and 100,000 educators through various partnerships including dictating curricula and establishing schools alongside the Department of Education in states such as Ohio and Colorado.
Serving on the center’s board, however, are several Chinese Communist Party apparatchiks. The co-chair of the effort, Yu Lizhong, is the former president of two Chinese Communist Party-run universities and has held leadership roles at several state-run groups:
Dr. Yu was the vice chairman of Chinese Geography Association. He is the chairman of Geographic Education Commission of Chinese Education Society, chairman of Shanghai Science Promotion Committee for Youth, and senior adviser of Shanghai Association of Science and Technology.
Advisors also include former President of state-run Shanghai Normal University, a former President of the Clinton Foundation, and former Director at Chinese the military proxy, China Mobile.
The map below demonstrates the coast-to-coast reach of the program, which arose out of a 2015 agreement between Asia Society President and CEO Josette Sheeran and United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Director-General Irina Bokova. “Welcoming the agreement, the Director-General stressed the heightened relevance of global citizenship education for countering violent extremism and promoting human rights, respect for diversity and a sense of solidarity and shared responsibility towards the future,” a press release summarized.

Those are great!
Exit might want to get cuts, just to be able to use those
Your grands will love those.
“Hubbard was the only one of the 13 finalists to not complete at least one lift.”
I don’t understand that.
“we need to build an alternative economy. “
Sounds like Galt’s Gulch.
I wish them all the best. And I’ll be happy to support them forces the enemy.
That personal property tax is evil! We were looking at Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia, Kentucky. It would have cost us tens of thousands more dollars a year just because of the personal property tax. And none of the other taxes were that much cheaper to offset it.
Lots of discouraging practices of the FBI.
“and do not account for cyber flipping of votes.”
I don’t know why but I found that funny. Because who would think that cyber flipping is acceptable.
NJ, wow!
“Where is the ACLU,”
GREAT question!!!
I’ve always heard that WA taxes were pretty high. One of my friends wants to move to AL because they have lower property taxes. They do have income tax, but since she’s retired, her income would be exempt.
I considered moving to Missouri years ago (like 30!) which is why I knew about the personal property tax. Paying that every year? Forget that! Obviously, I didn’t move. LOL
I kinda like the sales taxes funding the state coffers instead of income tax, because it catches all the under the table and illegal income when people purchase things with the money. But it can be an issue when people don’t spend as much.
Our politicians tried to give us an income tax a couple of times years ago; we were successful in beating it back.
Exactly. I had friends in CA I hung out with, big lefties. I’ve always had some libertarian views, don’t think the government should interfere with personal life, and believe in individuality and personal responsibility. One guy asked me why I am a conservative and not a liberal. I told him because they quickly left the idea of individual liberty and became tyrants. After a discussion, no one could argue with me.
💕
Thanks. If history is taught, communism doesn’t bring equity, just elites and the poor. All it does is cut out the middle class and cuts off any chance the poor could improve their lot.
I don’t either, just posted the report.
It is bad. You never really own anything.
They may have said early on that the vaccine would prevent someone from getting COVID; I honestly don’t remember and I don’t care to research it.
But for a while they’ve said it could help prevent contracting COVID or if you did contract it, the symptoms wouldn’t be as severe. Flu vaccine works on the same principle; it may not prevent but help lessen the severity.
California has the low property tax percentage wise, but the properties are accessed so high it’s a wash.
