Everything I know I learned from the internet.
And Hunter Biden. ๐
That is just what I was going to say...
“Honker” is “Hunker” with a TX accent. ๐๐คฃ
I know, this is dividing and tearing families apart.
Just like the libs/dims planned.
So sorry that your GD has been indoctrinated.
My dad would doze off watching TV, take little cat naps, then complain he couldn’t sleep at night.
I think our sleeping patterns change because we just aren’t that active during the day.
I’m watching “Bloodline” on Netflix.
Have you watched the series?
Bawhahaha!!
My that is some education!
Yes, I’ve seen it. Pretty good. My son had recommended it to me.
“Are you hungry?” In Texas speak is “jee eet?”.
I’m still watching season 1.
It’s pretty intense.
Just finished watching the 3 seasons of “Sinner.”
Loved how he just would not give up until he got to the truth.
I really like Bill Pullman.
A coworker in California asked me why people in Texas say “over yonder”. I thought for a minute, then told her that in California, there’s a hill, a tree, a building, something to point to in giving directions. But in West Texas there is none of those things, so we just point to the general direction and call it “yonder”.
I always thought truck drivers have a great experience. I saw that the dems infrastructure bill includes money to help women get in to truck driving. Lord only knows the details. When I saw that I thought of you. You could testify that you didn’t need Congress to be a truck driver.
I used to tell my kids when I retired I’d like to travel the country in an RV. I was at a gun show one day, and saw an RV sale. Found a great RV, but chickened out on even taking a test drive on the fairgrounds! There went that dream. I told my son, and he said to find a husband to drive me. I told him I didn’t want some man going where he wanted to go and doing what he wanted to do on my dime. So here I am, but at least I haven’t been shot for driving 10MPH on a 2 lane road in the hills somewhere.
So sorry about your cousin.
I have a friend who became a truck driver at the ripe old age of 52.
She and her hubby were a team.
She loved it at first but as time wore on hated it.
She said that she thought they would get to see the country but they were always on a deadline and never saw anything much but the interstates.
The shaking of the truck caused much pain and internal damage to her body.
She fell out of the truck once, trying to get out in to big of a hurry, and broke her shoulder.
She couldn’t wait to retire at 65.
She drank the kool-aid. I still love her, hopefully she does me also. When she was a toddler, they lived with me for awhile when mu then SIL was going to mechanic school at Oakland Airport. My daughter was very strict about her diet, but when they asked me to babysit on a weekend day I’d take her on train rides and all kinds of fun, including all the junk food and ice cream she could want. So I called her then and to this day, my partner in crime.
my dad would sleep anywhere, anytime.
I haven’t seen that, will have to check it out.
Lol it took me a few tries to get that one!

Further east in the south it's things like this:
"That democrat in the White House is eat up with the dumb-ass."
