Thank you...Had not heard of this, makes a lot of things clearer.
We lost Pournelle a few years ago. He was a great one, a polymath, a high-level Cold Warrior (nuclear war game theory and such, originated the concept of Rods from God) a paleocon and a wonderful human being.
