Nephew in Hospital with COVID (Vanity)
Me ^ | 22 July 2021 | Me

Posted on 07/22/2021 12:42:36 PM PDT by jimtorr

I took my nephew, Devon, to the hospital Sunday night, and we found that he has a serious case of Covid lung (Dr's words). He had been resting as comfortably as can be expected. Alert, responsive and aware of what was happening. He was using a BIPAP machine with a full face mask, and doing better. Until this morning.

He apparently was struggling to breath more, so the Dr intubated him, and he is now has a ventilator breathing for him. I am praying that this will oxygenate his body sufficiently while it fights off the infection.

Does anyone know current info on survival of Covid patients once intubated these days in mid-2021? It has to better for people with no co-mordities.

Absolutely!

I just got my supply of HCQ, Antibiotic and Zinc from Frontline Doctors should the need arise...

Tragic these people refuse treatment until it is basically too late.

Sorry to hear about this. Prayers up for him and the family.

It’s awful that a doctor doesn’t immediately give a patient some sort of treatment to try to mitigate this illness. And it is criminal that the CDC hasn’t bothered to publish any treatment protocols.

Go home and come back when you can’t breath is gross negligence on the Doctor’s part. JMHO.

As for your ventilator question, I only know one people in our circle of friends who was ventilated. He was morbidly obese and was on for a while. After he came off he went through weeks (maybe months) of physical therapy to be able to talk and walk again, but he’s doing well now.

So he was high risk and made it, so I hope that encourages you. Praying for your nephew’s full recovery.

very tragic.

a point on zinc; I think it lowers cortisol and, for me, I feel pretty bad on it. Zinc is a trace mineral (whereas mag is a major mineral) and alot of the dosing on zinc is too high. Just be aware that if you start feeling depressed, anxious, etc., it could be the zinc. if you take it, take it at night (when cortisol is it’s lowest) and probably skip nights

Check out the protocol from Dmitry Kats @nia3in on Twitter. It is pinned as his first tweet. The key part is use of niacin/niacinamide. NAC is also helpful where graphene oxide from a "vaxx" is making things worse.

Thanks for the heads up...

The last 6 months, I have been taking Vit D3, Vit C, Quercetin and Zinc on a daily basis and feel fine.

I got this Hyrdroxy Kit just in case the crap hits the fan or the Rats release their big bioweapons.

It is better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it.

Sort like my 20 guage Mossberg... :)

>>>Your nephew is in serious trouble and you should be insisting on convalescent plasma therapy<<<

After my last round of Chemotherapy to treat my Chronic Leukemia my Immune System crashed.

I was pretty sick for nearly four Months. I ended up with five Lung Infections including Pneumonia and they found a Mass in my upper Left Lobe. I had to have a Lung Biopsy so they could figure out what they were treating.

I was given multiple types of Antibiotics and nothing did the trick. The Lung Specialist decided to try Plasma Infusion Therapy as a last resort.

My Oncologist concurred but he decided to be less aggressive in the number of Treatments, adopting a wait and see attitude. After just one Plasma Infusion I started to recover so we held off on scheduling any more of them.

Less than a Month later I was good to go.

Let’s hope and pray this young man recovers.

I have communicated my cousin’s experience with HCQ several times, but will mention it again.
She and her husband are comparable in age and comparative weights to your nephew. Her husband had gone through chemo twice before for colon cancer.
The family tested positive a year ago this month. The wife was the sickest with oxygen levels as low as 86%. So weak she
couldn’t walk from one room to another.
On day 9 she went to the ER seeking help. They only gave her a CAT scan and IV fluids and sent her home.
So day 10 she found a doctor who would prescribe HCQ, antibiotic, and steroid breathing treatments.
The diarrhea stopped and fever was down the next day. Day 2 of HCQ her oxygen level had improved by 10% and was almost normal.
By the end of the week she felt nearly normal but kept up with the breathing treatments for a while afterwards.
The last I heard she had not regained her sense of smell or taste, and did not have the stamina that she had before, but had returned to work.

you want colloidal silver or silver ion suspended in pure water
—————
Exactly, I have been using 20 PPM colloidal silver for twenty years, you can make it or buy it from the vitamin stores ( they sell 20-40 PPM). Not sure it works for the Covid flu, especially in advanced stages. I take about an ounce a day, .5 in mornings after I brush teethe, and .5 before bed- it keeps your immune system strong. My dentist swears by it, no gum disease, plaque or cavities, and at 62 that is a blessing. When I get sick, I drink 2 ounces a day…..back story, it saved my life when I was working in the Amazon….not sure I had Dengue, but the SAR medic thought I was a goner, 104 temp, very very low blood pressure, I self administered about 3-4 ounces twice a day, two days later, recovered.

Did they give him anything to treat it when he first got sick? There are protocols for treating it especially for those with asthma.

Hasn’t that always been the case though? And the monoclonals have to be infused anyway, so at least that part of the puzzle is an issue of regulatory approach and availability.

Cases like this poor man are tragic, IMHO. If I had ‘rona symptoms, and couldn’t get one of the *mabs, for sure I’d be cracking open the Ivermectin and fluvoxamine scrip. Better a hail mary than sitting around waiting.

You check your O2 levels until they fall and then you go see the doctor. You hydrate yourself and take the supplements. I asked a doctor what he was taking and did the same as far as I could.

This is heartbreaking and i
infuriating

Trial Site News (ordinarily a medical clinical trials site) has reported on
emergency legal actions against doctors who refuse to treat. That means they deny effective medications.

One lawyer Ralph Lorigo Esq has been involved in several of these

At around ‘85’ on the o2 meter, the body is losing the ability to even process o2 and organs are undergoing oxygen deprivation which hampers ability to function, causing pain and joint aches. Ventilating will reoxygenate those organs and that’s a good thing. Don’t let the ventilating freak you out.

Your nephew appears to be 19 days into the fight that kicks into high gear around day 10, so he’s near or at hump-day of a disease than runs 28 days on average. He’s on his fourth day hospitalized, the average is 8-10 (a few days longer for survivors), so he should start responding positively to treatment very, very soon.

His ICU odds of survival are about 80% roughly and look pretty good based on his prior health of no comorbidities (he’ll likely loose that 25 lbs extra) although he might be slow off the starting block for a while and it will take some time for his lungs to recover. Now is the time to start thinking about how he will convalesce (stairs in the home, hospital programs for rehab, etc?). Think positive, plan positive, act positive, and pray hard.

We will, too. :)
