Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) is introducing a new bill that will replace law enforcement with “community-led first responders" as crime skyrockets across the nation. NBC News reported the bill would establish a Division on Community Safety within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and would "focus on supporting those disproportionately criminalized by police."

That’s some weapon-grade stupid.

I don’t trust any Bush. George, other George, Jeborah, and now Cori. The only Bush I can stand at all is Kate.
“From the very beginning, my team engaged with local community groups all over the country about this legislation.”
Meaningless. So, which “community” will “re-imagine” public safety? Where are these “first responders” supposed to come from? It would follow that any Marxist ideologue would reject former policemen, or anyone with a law enforcement background for these “positions”.
So, if they are not law enforcement officers, what do they do? Stand around and watch murder, mayhem, burglary, robbery, rape, assault, arson and vandalism, and subsequently admonish the perp with tersely worded speeches, and perhaps a pamphlet against violence? Do they just duck and hide when the bullets start to fly? Absurd.
Laws exist for a reason, to protect life, rights, and property. This does none of these, at all. Ridiculous.
It gets down to the imagination of the imaginer. This is just a fancy way of dictating an unconstitutional fascistic police state, where the individual has no rights, and no appeal against government tyranny. Criminal.

Many years ago I was told by a Democrat that crimes were just as frequent in the suburbs as they were in the inner city. The only reason crime appeared higher in the inner city was the higher precedence of police and that if there were as many police in the suburbs as there were in the inner cities the crime rates would be the same.
I’m a terrible person, but I hope this happens in her district.
Sounds great… we’ll have locally formed Posses. That will be a huge improvement in standardizing law enforcement response. Or will it be a step back into the 19th century?
You just can’t do satire anymore. What the DemonRats actually do is more insane than anything you could make up.
“Cori Bush should personally help out at a state penitentiary 24/7/365.”
No problem. 6 months after this starts there won’t be anyone in prison. They’ll be on the streets doing anything they want. All they are looking for are politicians to do the work. Ain’t gonna happen. If God had determined to make all people police, he wouldn’t have made criminals.

Basically, they want all black ‘community responders’ to police black communities and this is their way of firing white, hispanic and asian police officers without saying they are racist towards white folk. So now we can revert to no-go-villages with their own unaccountable little enforcer social power structures just like the mafia used to have. Lovely.
The mob used to do that, it could work. As long as we can play rough.
shutzstafflen/ gehiemestaadtpolizie worked for them
more black police officers shoot black criminals than white officers.
Maybe they’ll wear rainbow colored glasses, tutus, and play flutes to calm the angry criminals.
This is replacing local Leo
with a
National Socialist SS Division
.
Are these first responders going to carry water pistols and Nerf guns? Or just have a megaphone and ask, “What else do you want?”
Well...except that policing is a LOCAL issue.
If you want a national police force, we are going to have a different conversation...seriously.
