I’m assuming so; he filmed HK when he lived there before and they’re on his YouTube channel.
Not political things that I recall; daily life in Hong Kong, food, places he walked, etc. Almost touristy stuff. This was about 5-7 years ago I think, so well after the handover.
But, that was also before he traveled back to DC and was posting all the DC videos. Wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t keep a close eye on him.

They really are. I’m pretty sure before he started doing the YouTube channel that he was in video production in California as a career. He’ll still take on jobs. One campground he visited a couple years ago saw his YouTube channel, saw the video he made about them, and hired him to make a commercial promo video for them!
He usually has drone shots in every video he makes, unless the wind doesn’t cooperate or he’s in a National Park (no drones allowed). He’s made videos about what camera equipment he uses. I’ve thought about getting a cheap drone just to play with and learn how to operate. Not one like his, which costs about $1500. With my luck, I’d crash and burn the first flight.

I believe he plans on it, from what I remember him saying.
I went back on his channel and looked at the older videos from Hong Kong. Easily on they were only a couple minutes long, but I noticed about 4 years ago they grew to anywhere from 10 minutes to over an hour long. He walks a lot to keep his weight down, so I’m sure we’ll see a lot of Hong Kong.
Not sure how long he’s staying; if it’s a permanent move back or if he is only back for a short stint to keep his HK citizenship in effect.
