Sounds like people have had it with masks in CA. The LA County Sheriff has broken with the Health Director as well.
Masks don’t work.

I am concerned by rising cases, but I don’t believe the mask mandate will help efforts to stress vaccine efficacy and compel unvaccinated residents to get vaccinated. LA County should remain aligned with the State instead of creating confusion and disagreement at the local level.

Last night I was watching RSBN in Riverside, CA, after the MTG-Gaetz event was cancelled. Mikenificent was interviewing attendees, and they were all in for Larry Elder. It was encouraging.

Speaking of Larry Elder, I caught the tail end of an interview with him this morning.
He was saying he filed all of his papers on Friday and there better not be a problem with him getting on the ballot.
Would CA pull something like that, keep him off the ballot?

Grenell has stated he’s not running but is using his talents in other ways to help.
California on Saturday released a list of 41 candidates running in the recall election targeting Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom that was striking for who wasn’t on it: conservative radio talk show host Larry Elder.
Elder, a Republican and regular guest on Fox News, announced his candidacy July 12, bringing a well-known voice on the political right to a Republican field trying to oust Newsom.
But he wasn’t on the list released by the Secretary of State of candidates who met the requirements to be placed on the Sept. 14 ballot.
Ying Ma, an Elder campaign spokeswoman, said she expected him to be on the final list of candidates issued next week. “Our campaign submitted every document required by the Secretary of State and the Los Angeles County Registrar” to qualify for the ballot, she said in a statement.
It wasn’t immediately clear what requirement Elder failed to meet.

My guess-just a timing thing? I mean, if he filed 30 minutes for the deadline or something, it’ll take a bit to get everything updated.
