My question is why is any Republican Senator voting in favor of any one of these?

Forgive me if I have the wrong state, but the US Constitution says the state legislature is responsible for elections. The SOS and governor took that and made up their own rules.
I see that Lisa Murkowski has come out saying she's not voting for Stone-Manning. Which surprised me greatly.
After a quick look, it appears the committee either reports favorably, unfavorably or without recommendation to the full Senate. Since 2013, a simple majority can end a filibuster. And it's a simple majority vote to confirm. So, even if every Republican voted not to confirm, it appears it wouldn't make a difference. The only chance is if some Democrats refuse to confirm.

That’s right, lol, thinking about too many things this morning. And I was going to mention the Supreme Court did not do their job by throwing the case out. That just emboldened the crooks. The SCOTUS should have heard the case.

American Airlines orders passengers to put their hands on their heads for last hour of flight over ‘security threat’
“Passengers were ordered to put their hands on their heads for 45-60 minutes before landing,” Chris Nguyen, who was on the flight, wrote on Twitter. “Strangely, passengers were repeatedly told not to film on the plane.”
Flight 2289 departed from Los Angeles and landed in Miami on Wednesday afternoon. But about an hour before it landed, passengers say, the flight’s crew ordered them all to put their hands up, citing the unnamed security threat.
Once the plane was on the ground, Mr Nguyen says, armed police boarded the aircraft and made an arrest.
“Any idea why law enforcement came on with machine guns and arrested a guy on @AmericanAir Flight 2289 from LAX to MIA?” the customer asked local news station KTLA.

In case you didn’t hear, yesterday a judge dismissed the lawsuit against me and President Trump. The suit was over a meme that I made and Trump shared last June.
This lawsuit has been a dark shadow looming over everything I have done for the past year.

The ballots cast in Arizona’s largest county in the 2020 election will be counted for a third time on orders from the state’s Senate.
Nearly 2.1 million ballots submitted in Maricopa County for the presidential contest were tabulated, as normal, by election officials. They were recounted by hand by audit teams hired by the Arizona Senate in a process that was completed late last month.
Now the Senate will do its own recount that will provide a number to compare to those from the county and from the auditors.
“Maricopa County says there’s 2,089,563 ballots. We did the hand count, and they’re finalizing that number, but we just wanted a third number to tie everything together, make sure we have more—the more data points, the better,” former Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett, the Senate’s audit liaison, told The Epoch Times.
The new count will focus on the number of ballots and will not count the actual votes, unlike the first two tabulations.
The Senate will use two counting machines that it purchased to complete the count, Arizona Senate President Karen Fann, a Republican, told the Arizona Republic.
”We’re going to run all the ballots through to see how they match up,” she said. “If there ends up being a difference, we’d have another count.”

The Arizona Senate will conduct its own recount of the total number of Maricopa County ballots cast in last fall’s election, Senate President Karen Fann said Thursday.
The Senate has purchased two paper-counting machines to serve as a check on the work done by its contractor, Cyber Ninjas, as well as the count done by county elections officials.
Fann called it a “triple-check” on the number of ballots cast as the audit is winding down toward a possible end late next week.
”We’re going to run all the ballots through to see how they match up,” she said in an interview an hour after stopping by the audit’s new location in a muggy, swamp-cooled building at the state fairgrounds.
“If there ends up being a difference, we’d have another count,” Fann said.
I was thinking the same thing. After my neck surgeries I can’t even lift my arms long enough to do hardly anything. They’d probably arrest and fine me for being disabled.
I had to cancel a trip to Carson City to visit my niece from last year because of COVID-19 restrictions. I wanted to go this summer and hopefully see my cousins and other niece in NorCal while I’m at it. But the crazy things I read about airlines and COVID rules out there has kept me from planning the trip.
