When I lived in the bay area, there was always something to do, but it was close and I was younger. Not much goes on around here, but I can check with local tea party and see if there’s anything to do.
I used to sign up to troll forums that weren’t conservative. Guess I could still do that. Always just ask innocent questions.

Rusty, do you recall when they used to plant Oleander Bushes in the boulevards of the freeways and the birds would get drunk eating the berries and fly into vehicles. They eventually removed all the Oleander Bushes. They sure were pretty though as you drove along the freeways etc.

I saw a documentary about a woman that killed her husband with Oleander.
So how are you doing with your planters? I see it’s heating up in your neck of the woods, even Portland. That may cut down on riots.
And Biden seems to think every Hispanic is an illegal, as he said they’re afraid to get vaccinated because they’re afraid of being deported. He is the most racist politician, and has been, for a long time. Why wouldn’t minorities be very upset at his racist comments?

Mike Pence has attempted to toe a line between supporting Donald Trump and staying in the good graces of the old Republican Party, but that line may have been crossed for good.
He spoke to a crowd at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library on Thursday when he said he was proud of his role on January 6,” The New York Times reported.
“I will always be proud that we did our part on that tragic day to reconvene the Congress and fulfilled our duty under the Constitution and the laws of the United States,” he said.
And while he did not mention Trump by name he took a pointed jab at the 45th President of the United States.
“The truth is, there is almost no idea more un-American than the notion that any one person could choose the American president,” he said.
Pence, who many believe is considering campaigning for president in 2024, expressed his disappointment with the results of the election but did not dispute their veracity.
“Now, I understand the disappointment many feel about the last election,” Pence said. “I can relate. I was on the ballot. But you know, there’s more at stake than our party and our political fortunes in this moment. If we lose faith in the Constitution, we won’t just lose elections – we’ll lose our country.’”
But he did tout the accomplishments and record of Trump.

I was afraid the USPS had lost it! LOL It is unusual to get ‘real’ mail, not junk mail or a bill.
Speaking of junk....GRRRRR!!! I get my prescriptions filled at Kroger, and I have used them for the occasional shot (my doc was out of the shingles vaccine when I needed it, for example) but I don’t use them for EVERYTHING.
Just got a text from them: ‘You or someone age 12+ in your house is eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine! Click (gives link here) or walk in now.’ And this is the second message they’ve sent. First one was on 6/16. They better not start sending a text every week!!!
I don’t think I’m the one with the comprehension issue, but whatever.

I got 3 of them planted and put in a cherry tomato, burp less cucumber, zucchini. It got to much for me to fill the tubs so my youngest grandson came this morning to dump the sand out of other tubs that were here and helped me get some planting mix into them. I will go out later tonight and plant a green pepper, Jalapeno, spinach, and cilantro. And hope it grows but I don’t have much of a green thumb.
