It looks like it’s been circulating around the internet for years. Things like that are always hard to stop; invariably rearing its head, like fighting a hydra!
If you (or anyone else) are interested, this is an article that did some fact-checking on that specific meme. I know, I know, it’s MSM and they also include Snopes in the info. But I’ve found Reuters to be about the best on the fact-checking. Maybe because it’s an international news service and not an American news service. And we know how brutal the foreign news outlets can be (I’m looking at you, Sky News Australia) so I think Reuters has to be more accurate on facts or they’ll be called out. And they give a lot of sources to the facts they provide.
