Trump: 'I have not conceded' 2020 loss; might have 'different president' now if not for Pence choice

On the possibility of being reinstated as president if the 2020 contest is verified as fraudulent, Trump said such a decision would be "up to public" or "perhaps politicians."

Former President Donald Trump said Monday that he has not conceded the 2020 presidential race, that if the election is proven fraudulent it will be up to the public and "perhaps politicians" to decide how to respond, and that if Mike Pence had sent disputed election results back to state legislatures for review the country "might very well have a different president right now."

"No, I never admitted defeat," Trump told Just the News' "Water Cooler" in an exclusive interview on Real America's Voice.

"We have a lot of things happening right now ... all you have to do is read the newspapers and see what's coming out now," he said, adding that he has "not conceded."

I don’t really think that is the case, Christians were supporting Trump all through the primaries. I think dubious Christians would have voted for Trump to keep Hillary out of the White House in any case. Ater all, many Christians supported Romney in 2012 because they found Obama so objectionable.

Listen up, Ms Canada, you really need to brush up on the US constitution. This is the 2nd highly inaccurate statement about the US constitution you have made on this thread. The president of the Senate (Pence) presided over the election. Ultimately, it was his responsibility, and his alone, to accept or deny those slates of electors.

Trump needed somebody who was conventional and non-threatening to win. If he’d gone with somebody unconventional and unexpected he might not have won.

No he did not lose under the constitution. Constitutional laws were broken. This election, under the constitution, is fradulent and illegal. Every constituional safeguard was undermined and perverted, and those officers whose duty it was to follow the constitution failed to do so. The constitution was NOT followed, and Biden is not the lawful president, and it is quite likely that many congress critters holding office right now are also not the rightful holders of their offices either.

LOL!

OK, cite the words in the Constitution that say he decides what slates of Electors to accept..............

No, you people know it doesn’t say that.

Our Founders knew we’re not ruled by angels. And our President is not elected by popular vote.

On Jan 20th the President of the US of A was sworn in.
That’s in the Constitution.

You’re forgetting that even FR was filled with posters who didn’t trust Trump’s credibility as a conservative candidate. GOP primary voters reflected that skepticism. Go back and look at the results in 2016. Trump won the nomination by winning GOP primaries in states that he had no chance of winning in the general election — like New York, California, Illinois, and most of New England. Meanwhile, he lost primaries in a huge swath of some of the “reddest” places in Middle America.

Stop, dude. You’re going to lecture me on constitutional law? You really think the Vice President of the United States has the authority to unilaterally reject electoral votes?

You’re such a partisan phony, because you’re sitting there telling me that Mike Pence should have done something you’d never let a Democrat like VP Gore, VP Biden, or VP Harris do in a million years.

You’re right, I misspoke. There was lots of proof of fraud. Just nothing presented in a court. But there were lots of affidavits, lots of witnesses, proof was extensive.

I’m happy now they are counting the ballots. I just hope it isn’t squashed again.

Constitutional laws were broken.

What’s interesting about that is that even if it’s true, we still haven’t seen any clear evidence that Trump actually won any state he fraudulently lost.

Even when his own legal team presented irrefutable evidence of fraudulent votes that had been cast, they had no way of knowing which candidate got the fraudulent votes.

If not for Rudy, nothing would be happening in Arizona now, and at least 11 states wouldn’t be preparing to do what Arizona is doing. Rudy and his team are rock stars as far as I’m concerned.

Except Pence told Trump he would do exactly opposite of what he did. Liar.

“but he needs something more than this to keep people interested”

Speak for yourself and learn about the meaning of the word loyalty, which appears very weak within you.

“I’m not a big fan of Pence, but I’d say there’s almost no chance Trump would have won in 2016 without him on the ballot”

How ridiculous. Are you saying there was no other qualified and admired human being out there that Trump could have chosen for a running mate other than Pence? That’s ludicrous.

“Sorry but the answer is yes. Trump ultimately made every choice. He could have fought for different people but he didn’t. Let me ask you this. If he had to do it again do you pick any of the same people?”

Isn’t hindsight wonderful?

Politics pushed Pence on Trump. The extraordinary accomplishments Trump delivered on were delivered by deals with O’Connell and the rest of the GOPe.

Remember how Steve Bannon was sent into exile in Europe for a couple years? That was part of the deal to get the tax package approved. My opinion.

Good analysis. And to prove that political appointments are an expedient, just look at what Trump accomplished.

Trump has always been about RESULTS. And that’s all that really matters.
