These people have incredible credentials in relevant fields of science and medicine. Stupidity can't be the explanation.
One should believe the science, and the scientific evidence is overwhelming that ivermectin (IVM) and hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) are effective for preventing and treating COVID, especially when combined with other drugs.
The studies supporting this conclusion are readily available and endorsed by clinicians and scientists with awesome credentials. See, for example, the work of Pierre Kory and his team, the BIRD Group, Peter McCullough, Harvey Risch, Brett Weinstein/Steve Kirsch/Robert Malone, and many others.
The information has been available since the start of the pandemic. As early as April of 2020, some clinicians were saving their patients and pleading, in vain, with the health authorities to investigate the value of these drugs.
Throughout this time, the major social media companies have suppressed this vital information. Facebook seems to be the most ruthless. You Tube and Twitter are close behind, though some information escapes the eagle eye of the censors.
Facebook's censorship fits ill with its assurance in its SEC filings:
COVID-19 Response. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched multiple initiatives to support the global public health community's work to keep people safe and informed. We took steps to provide our community with access to accurate information, stop misinformation and harmful content, and support global health experts, local governments, businesses, and communities. . .

Looks to me like other doctors control how doctors practice medicine....
I’m not a native English speaker so I had to look up the idiom.
I believe it was used correctly, but if you have contrary authority or knowledge, please do share. A large reason why I read FR is to become better at understanding English.
hopefully with the truth, they will become heroes.
Intimidation against “unapproved” medicine and medical practice, as well as control of physician education have been the hallmarks of the American Medical Association from the beginning:
See: “The Flexner Report and the Cartelization of Modern Medicine”
What has made it more potent in the 21st century is now medical care is nationalized by the federal government so it is difficult to go outside the system. It also has the power of the media behind it so medical careers can be destroyed within a few weeks.
The answer is quite simple: They are NOT brilliant. Anyone who lets political views override knowledge is not a ‘brilliant’ person.
I think yours is the best answer.
The practice of medicine has become very much under the control of government, and for many reasons. You mention licensing, but I would add government pay for services and probably loans.
You mentioned that changes in law have increased that control, and I am sure this is deliberate. Doctor’s offices now regularly pry into Second Amendment issues, and I expect, for the same reasons.
Government has determined that it wants to control medicine, here, as it does in the rest of the world and to serve its own ends.
And let’s not forget the assassination of the CEO of Apotex and his wife at the start of the pandemic. Convenient timing. Apotex is one of the world’s top 5 producers of HCQ. Big Pharma sending a message...
Since the beginning of this Wuhan disaster I have become much more knowledgeable and respectful of my immune system and how the body works. It’s amazing.
My eye doctor seemed to have no idea about ionophores or antibodies and criticized me for not getting the vaccine. This is how stupid he is: he had the virus in Dec. 2020 - a bad case over 3 weeks where he took NOTHING! Then in February 2021 he ran out and got vaccinated.
Because they want to keep their jobs and not get blackballed.
So, a few eggs will get broken, but they’ll be alright.
Are the medical experts AFRAID to speak out?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yes. Just look at how the America’s Frontline Doctors have been treated. Some doctors say you can lose your hospital credentials for not falling in line or for asking the wrong questions. Pharmacists were threatened if they filled prescriptions for Ivermectin or HCQ for off-label prescriptions as is normal. I read an email that warned them that their professionalism would be called into doubt and further actions may happen if they engaged in this practice re Covid drugs.
In Canada, a doctor had his credentials to practice medicine threatened just for questioning the blind push for ‘vaccinations’ when his patients were suffering from them.
He’s since been told his qualifications to practice medicine are under review by the medical board.
These threats are framed as if these doctors are intentionally spreading misinformation harmful to their patients, or they are accused of ‘spreading false information’. It’s utterly corrupt and creepy.
They function based on their reputation and the various agents of pressure all hint, suggest, worry or threaten that they can be no longer be trusted to practice medicine if they can be so ignorant and reckless with public safety during a pandemic.
Big Pharma controls medicine through corrupt federal authorities(NIH,FDA,CDC) and state licensing laws. Doctors who speak up or act up are in constant danger of losing their license to practice medicine.
Respectfully, I must express a different view on this one. My understanding is that the phrase “toe the line” involves everyone lining up so that their toes are at or on the same line. So yes it implies conformity, following the rule, being where you are supposed to be...
Doctors work for corporate organizations (many of them) and they exist within communities. None of them wants to lose privileges, board certifications, be viewed as a quack or even face being fired.
And the mindset of those controlling the medical community has been vaccination above all else. A successful treatment that would reduce the need or urgency for vaccination is therefore off-message. Those who push for treatment are thus viewed as part of the problem rather than the solution. For the same reason, antibody testing before vaccination is viewed as something that might convince people to forego vaccination, so it too is contrary to the party line.
Finally, how would we know if lots of doctors had dissenting views? Big Tech will keep them out of search engine results and off of social media.
Perhaps because the evidence isn’t that overwhelming? Most of these studies are small, and they all test against doing nothing, rather than the current treatment regime used here with a mix of steroids, anti-inflammatory, and anti-coagulation drugs.
Agree that evidence is overwhelming that HCQ and Ivermectin are effective in preventing serious illness when used early:
Following are 100's of studies showing this, looks overwhelming to me:
HCQ: https://c19hcq.com/
Ivermectin: https://c19ivermectin.com/
The thing to remember is the current accepted treatment used by doctors has dropped mortality by 80% since early in the pandemic.
You don’t just need to prove HCQ and Ivermectin work. You need to prove they work better than the existing therapies.
Ping for your interest
And tried it. almost everyone my colleagues and I admitted this spring was put on hydroxychloroquine. The results were underwhelming at best
In a word: $$$$$
Sure, but then there is Peru that mass distributed Ivermectin and since then has had the highest Covid death rate in the world.
A lot of other things are going on the Delhi and Peru at the same time, which is why these observational studies don’t tell us very much.
