Throw your phone and computer out. Get rid of your TV and cars unless it’s a 1980 or older. Totally off the grid so to speak.
Short of that there’s not much you can do.
Big tech is everywhere especially if you log into anything regardless of your operating system.

Google/Goolag? For me, I use DuckDuckGo.
Just do a search on both platform for any “political” subject and you’ll understand the difference.

Bing, there it is.
Seriously I use the duck by default, but for some searches I need bing because it is much better for a lot of things.
I try not to use google. it sucks not having a viable MS phone.
MS is evil in a way, but not even in the same league as Google or Zuckbook.

An overreaction. Computers like my G5 quad (or even the G3 in the closet) are only really handicapped as gaming platforms. And there are still good games to play on them if you don’t need the latest fare.
We can still, at least for now, turn off use of the cloud or location “services” too.
Cars which have electronic controls don’t even start to get things like GPS or OnStar till long after 1980.
TVs with these objectionable features weren’t the inexpensive TVs till fairly recently. Indeed, what’s ON TV NOW is far more of a concern than those TVs.

Here are a few you might consider.I got this list from Techspot.com
- MetaGer – An open source metasearch engine with good features, based in Germany.
- SwissCows – A zero-tracking private search engine based in Switzerland, hosted on secure Swiss infrastructure.
- Searx – A privacy-friendly and versatile metasearch engine that’s also open source.
- Qwant – A private search engine based in France.
- Mojeek – The only true search engine (rather than metasearch engine) that has its own crawler and index (based in the UK).
- YaCy – A decentralized, open source, peer-to-peer search engine.
- Givero – Based in Denmark, Givero offers more privacy than Google and combines search with charitable donations.

Privacy concerns in the 1950s: “Can we talk later and not on the phone?”
Privacy concerns in the late 2010s: “Hey, espionage device, when is the next shooting of the movie i what to go to?”
