Former President Donald Trump is reportedly telling people that he expects to get reinstated by August, according to New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman.
Haberman shared this rather stunning detail in a quote tweet of a CNN segment featured in a tweet from Donie O’Sullivan. The video features a number of QAnon followers lauding a Myanmar-style coup of the US government ostensibly to replace President Joe Biden with Trump.
Haberman wrote in her quote tweet “Trump has been telling a number of people he’s in contact with that he expects he will be reinstated by August” with an important parenthetical caveat that states “(no that isn’t how it works but simply sharing the information).”

the q crowd has frequently made FR nearly unreadable.
Yes. It’s sad.
Lol! Another unnamed “source” hits a favorite so-called journalist to inject another conspiracy theory into the national dialogue.
Like I said, unlikely but not impossible or illegal. With the right public pressure and exposure. The funny thing is if we had 1 month of honest unbiased reporting it I would put it at better than 50/50 that Trump would be in office before 2024. But the fact of the matter is we aren’t dealing with anywhere close to an unbiased press. The elite media, FOX included are in on the voter fraud. That is what will be the demise of our Republic, a media hell bent on controlling the public vice protecting it from government abuse. The elitist at the top of the Republican party are willing accomplices.
I saw “QAnon” in the second paragraph.
Not surprising.
“Trump has been telling a number of people he’s in contact with that he expects he will be reinstated by August”
I doubt it.
Need to sell more papers and web-site hits.
Hurry, someone think of something!
Oh yeah, Trump will save us...........
Oldie, but goodie :-)
“Not this August, nor this September; you have this year to do in what you like.
Not next August, nor next September; that is still too soon;
they are still too prosperous from the way things pick up when armament factories start at near capacity;
they never fight as long as money can still be made without.
So you can fish that summer and shoot that fall or do whatever you do,
go home at nights, sleep with your wife, go to the ball game, make a bet, take a drink when you want to,
or enjoy whatever liberties are left for anyone who has a dollar or a dime.
But the year after that or the year after that they fight. ” -—Ernest Hemingway, 1935
Can’t disagree with any of that! We The People have been betrayed by cowardly power brokers who have been bought and paid for.
Because it is not an official audit, and nothing can be done at this point. Except impeachment, which won’t happen. And if it did, we have President Harris.
The basis that she is a grifting moron. Remember the Kraken, and all her other suits that were laughed out of court?
Biden/Harris are not going to get impeached and removed. That would take 67 Senate votes, You have 17 democrats in mind that are going to vote for that?
There aren’t though. You can’t “pull back” electors. The constitutional process was followed, and there are no take-backs whatsoever. So many Freepers must have failed civics in Hugh School
You really suffer from delusion. Trump has a shot at 2025, but anyone thinking he is currently calling the shots as President is a special kind of stupid
That’s right!
Cheating wins everytime... glad you’re so educated.
I don’t support cheating of any kind, But states had up till December to work out any proof of fraud in their elections. Not one single state did, so Biden was elected President. Nothing can change that, regardless of how much hopium you shoot up imagining a different outcome,
Depends on the evidence of course. But if they don’t want to get wiped out off the map in the next election I do expect Dems to start distancing themselves from this as well.
Presumably, in a world where Trump is Speaker and Congress impeaches and removes Biden, Republicans necessarily control the House and have a near 2/3 majority in the Senate after sweeping the 2022 Senate elections (including electing the first Republican senators of the 21st Century for each of CA, CT, WA, OR, and NY). Blocking confirmation of a new VP is probably the least far-fetched part of this extremely far-fetched scenario.
And nearly 2/3rds a year of his four-year term now lost?
