Compare that with Pyongyang, the secretive capital of North Korea, where the cars are sharply defined and it's possible to make out individual people.
"We [Israel] would always prefer to be photographed at the lowest resolution possible", said Amnon Harari, head of space programmes at Israel's Defence Ministry last year, reported by Reuters.
"It's always preferable to be seen blurred, rather than precisely." "The initial motivation was scientific," says Michael Fradley, an archaeologist at the University of Oxford and one of the academics who successfully campaigned for the amendment to be changed.
"We needed access to high resolution over the Occupied Palestinian Territories comparable to what we use over other parts of the region."

I believe everything I read on the internet.
Using satellite imagery has been a boon to archeology, because you see unnatural land markings that you wouldn’t see otherwise.

you know why
Christopher is drunk again?
Which is why they invented alcohol.
LOL. I have never heard satellite imagery compared to the effects of alcohol. . . makes sense . . . I’ll go with it!!! Viva la beer goggles!!!

A house we used to live in
is blurred out on google street view.
I guess you can request that...
Ewwwwww. Thanks for ruining Raquel Welch for me for the rest of my life.
She was always my very favorite . . . now THAT was a real woman!!!!!
That’s the one I was thinking of. Thanks!
They probably think they’re helping the Palestinians by blurring things, but I really doubt that the Zionist Entity (a little Palestinian lingo, for those of you in Rio Linda) is using Google Maps for targeting.
She’s still with us.
