Using satellite imagery has been a boon to archeology, because you see unnatural land markings that you wouldn’t see otherwise.

I’m sure Israel already has high-res satellite imagery for academic purposes when needed.

I noticed the blurry satellite map on google when I was looking for the Hamas building in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza city. It was perfectly brought down by missiles just like a regular demolition would collapse it.

They probably think they’re helping the Palestinians by blurring things, but I really doubt that the Zionist Entity (a little Palestinian lingo, for those of you in Rio Linda) is using Google Maps for targeting.

Overhead images are blurred. Street view images appear to be ok.
