A group of angry parents has blasted their children's school board after it emerged their 9th-graders were being assigned "woke" books that contained graphic violence and sexual material. Furious parents lined up before Virginia's Loudoun County School Board this week to read several "pornographic" passages from the books.

I get so tired of these posting hall monitor Karens here. If they don’t want to go to the actual link, then don’t. Why post about it like they are doing some great service?

Yes - it is difficult sometimes as a parent on what to allow and what can serve as a good (bad?) example for the kids to know about. We were always pretty straight-forward (maybe too much?) about some of the bad stuff that can happen to people. But having a book that gives it right from the horse’s mouth can make a bigger impact.
The parents need to show up with sharpened pitch forks and get to work.
Public schools were only good until conservatives stopped voting in schoolboard elections and attending schoolboard meetings, preferring instead to barbeque ribs and remodel their kitchens.

It’s hard not to read their comments when I am scrolling through the comments. However, your point is valid as it pertains to replying to them.
I hope these parents file “child abuse/child sexual abuse” criminal complaints against the members of the Loudon School Board members who voted for this horrible, child-hurting books.
There should be both local/state, and federal charges that can be laid against them. Take the fight to these bastards on all fronts.
