Somewhere in the attic in a box of school memorabilia is a letter my mom wrote to the teacher saying how she would not let me read “Go Ask Alice” and why it wasn't appropriate for other kids to be reading it either.

i gave my mom “Go Ask Alice” to read when I was done.
I thought it was a good book- i was in jr. high, and it was as good as any scared straight special.
