Sadly, a lot of indoctrinated women watch that crap and believe every bit of it. They are sure that they can beat the crap out of any man.

Most women will break their thumbs if they tried to through a real punch because they don't even know how to make a fist. LOL.

People that have never been in a real fight have all kinds of misconceptions of what it is really like. They imagine what they will do in the fight, the punches, kicks, whatever, and the imaginary opponent always falls for them. The first punch to the face that you get that rings your bell is a revelation where all plans go out the window. I still remember mine. The first time it happened to me I got my azz handed to me because I froze. The next time it happened I knew what was happening and fought through it.

Obviously there is something wrong with the test. The Army’s first priority should be to eliminate “barriers to success for women”

It was cheap but still included the run that the head of the Army liked.

Yes, the 3 part PT test was cheap, but IMO effective. Pushups, situps, and two mile run...I remember it well. Now you have a 5 part test, and you have 22 minutes to pass the run.

I just turned 67, and I could pass it with a bit of preparation. My usual walking speed is 17 minutes per mile, for 4-8 miles, depending on mood and weather. I haven't run since I left the Army 37 years ago. Up until my last 18 months, I did my running in jump boots.

They view the Army’s fitness test as a barrier to women, rather than an indication that the front lines maybe, JUST MAYBE, should be left to the men.

One of the best learning experiences in my life was when I flunked my first ARTEP. I won't go into the gory details, but it woke me up, to put it mildly.

I caught so much flak from my battery commander, must have lasted at least a month. You know, straight out of the Platoon Leaders Guide: everything my unit does, or fails to do, is my responsibility.

From that point on, I was a PITA to deal with, because if my neck is truly on the line, stay the hell out of my way and let me do my job.

Sounds like a call out for more transfreaks disguised as women to join up and pass the test.

If women are failing because fighting the enemy creates requirements that are too tough for women, then someone needs to teach the enemy to fight fairly, even if that means going to war to teach them, so that they don’t fight unfairly against our women. ~ lib logic

That fits with the complaints about having wildlife crossing signs on busy roads. They should move the signs to quieter roads for the safety of the wildlife.

Oh I agree with you, but the Israelis make it work, and women want equality nowadays, so if they can pass the physical, let them serve, if they can’t, they shouldn’t serve.

We should only go to war against enemies that adopt the same standards (IOW, never).

The military is now a social institution, not a fighting force. As such, of course its standards are different (and politically maliable).
