Call The Midwife star Jenny Agutter is set to reprise her role in The Railway Children sequel - over 50 years after starring in the original film.
The actress, 68, was just 16 when she played Bobbie Waterbury in the 1968 BBC series, before going on to star in the 1970 film version at 18-years-old.

KEYWORDS:
What a woman. I still have fond memories of her from Logan's Run. I did watch the 2000 version where Agutter played the mom. She looked so fine in Edwardian finery.

In the ‘perfect woman’ thread, a picture of Jenny Agutter from Logan’s Run would work fine.

The same year she did “Logan’s Run,” (1976) she also appeared in the vastly underrated and underappreciated, “The Eagle Has Landed,” with Michael Caine, Donald Sutherland and Robert Duvall. She had a supporting role, but was perfectly cast in that as well.

the vastly underrated and underappreciated, “The Eagle Has Landed,There was a bit of Anti-American spin in that movie, but it was well done.

Call the Midwife is one of my favorite TV shows, ever.
She plays the Mother Superior.
Some PC-ness for 50's and 60's (most likely required these days), but not too bad.

The original movie was very good. I wonder how “woke” the sequel will be?

I've never seen The Railway Children but I have heard about it and it is going to be released on Blu-ray this year. I've always like Jenny Agutter.

One of the truly lovely actresses, with a knack for popping up in unexpected places. I really liked her in Man in the Iron Mask and the cult classic American Werewolf in London, where she is great in a comic/horror/romance mashup. Still on her starter husband as well; married when she was 32 and it seems to have stuck. Glad to see that she’s still acting.

Apparently she was in s very good adaptation of “The Snow Goose,” but that film is no longer available. The BBC “lost” it just like NASA lost the technology to go to the moon.
All we’re left with is the book and an album by the British band Camel.

LOL, I’ve never seen the other shows, only that one and that is how I know her.
She’s still beautiful.

I remember seeing her in WALKABOUT(1971).
Now got it on DVD and was so “shocked! SHOCKED!” I had to play certain scenes over and over.
What’s really interesting is, at my age, I don’t remember why!

Logans Run. She was great. Yes, she was. And the picture below shows she was allowed to make it past 30. I read one of the "Logan's Run" sequels, "Logan's World". She and Logan have a son named Jaq. The book wasn't very good.
