It's not just a thing with house cats - 
We were at the Utica zoo a few years back and they had refrigerator boxes in the lion's area - these huge lions were laying in them and playing in and out of them just like little house cats - pretty funny.

1st described in the 1890's. Were found in Celtic and Egyptian Sites. The Rattleback has an uneven shape. The rolling and pitching axis are in different places.
