Alan Dershowitz accused Maxine Waters of using 'KKK tactics' to intimidate the jury in the Chauvin murder trial

Lawyer Alan Dershowitz has accused Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters of using tactics from the Ku Klux Klan "playbook" to "intimidate the jury" in the Derek Chauvin murder trial.

In a televised interview with Newsmax, Dershowitz likened Waters' actions to that of the KKK in the "1920s and 1930s."

"The Klan would march outside of courthouses and threaten all kinds of reprisals if the jury ever dared convict a white person or acquit a black person," he said.

Dershowitz said, "First of all, the judge should have granted the motion for a mistrial based on the efforts of Congresswoman Waters to influence the jury."

"Her message was clearly intended to get to the jury: 'If you will acquit or if you find the charge less than murder, we will burn down your buildings. We will burn down your businesses. We will attack you. We will do what happened to the witness - blood on their door,'" he said.

Dershowitz told Newsmax that Waters' "intimidation tactics" and the "threat of violence" should have resulted in a mistrial.

"The judge, of course, wouldn't grant a mistrial because then he'd be responsible for the riots that would ensue, even though it was Waters who was responsible," Dershowitz added.

Mob justice is all the same. And it hasn’t changed much all throughout history.

Deja Vous: Replace the judge with Justice Roberts, replace Dershowitz with Clarance "but John, that would be the end of democracy" Thomas, replace Chauvin with the Dominion/mail-ins and replace Floyd with Trump.

As I recall, Chief justice Roberts was heard to have snookered the 3 "conservative" justices including Barrett to not take the election case, and to not want to be responsible for riots in the streets if they upheld The Steal.

America is now a true mob-ocracy. The trial was a disgrace. The comments from both sides applauding this are scum and that includes big names on our side.

I don’t think this man received a fair trial. That’s the hallmark of our civilization. We all needed justice, no matter the race or political affiliation. Maxine Waters, and a non-sequestered jury, and venue denied him that. I doubt he will get an appeal quickly, and there is a strong possibility he won’t survive jail.

It’s pretty bad, when even OJ Simpson says he wanted the cop found guilty. Ain’t life Grand?

He won’t survive, unless he PCs up. I could see corruption so deep, they might not let him PC.

I thought about that very same comparison yesterday afternoon after the verdict had been read.

Defenders of this trial’s procedures are claiming that members of the jury ( who should have been sequestered) did not get to hear or see Water’s statements or were otherwise influenced. That btw includes Hannity.

I'd disagree slightly with Professor Dershowtiz’s assessment.Mad Max didn't use KKK tactics, she used Stasi/Red Guards tactics.

Looking for opinions. How much does the knee-hold Chauvin look like courtroom Chauvin?

“ I thought about that very same comparison yesterday afternoon after the verdict had been read.”
*************

The judge will sentence Chauvin to the max 40 years. But, at the appeal trial his sentence will be considerably reduced. That when Maxine and the race baiters get their rioting and looting.....

“America is now a true mob-ocracy.”

I’d say mostly the big democrat run cities with large poor black neighborhoods.

Also we have the media amplifying local problems into national crises.

It seems as if Max knew exactly what effect her presence and words would have! It seems as if she might have been assigned that task? She managed to keep all the hate alive for another round! Some truth serum, a lie detector, and a waterboard that could be used to interrogate Maxine and Nanzi seems to be in order! IMHO, it was all planned!!!!!
