LOL that was about how it was!
I would be gone for hours. Hours and hours, today we would think somebody had been kidnapped if they were gone that long. Lots of war wounds too, scraped knees and elbows. I think I still have scars. But they just healed up, no trips to the emergency room needed.

I’m praying for rain for you. And for California. All the animals and trees in the mountains, I hate to think of them suffering. I’m hoping the giant sequoias have some sort of mechanism to deal with drought. They probably been through something like this before in the last couple centuries. Although liberals would never believe it.
