Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has backed Democrats’ effort to pack the Supreme Court by adding four new seats that would be filled by President Joe Biden, arguing the courts should not be allowed to overturn laws passed by Congress.
The Washington Times reported:
“I do think we should be expanding the court,” she told reporters.
The New York Democrat, part of the progressive “Squad” collective on Capitol Hill, reasoned the justices overturning laws is part of the problem with the 6-3 conservative majority.
“The idea that nine people, that a nine-person court, can overturn laws that … hundreds and thousands of legislators, advocacy and policymakers drew consensus on … we have to … just ask ourselves, I think as a country, how much does that current structure benefit us? And I don’t think it does,” she said

So, she supports packing the court. A court that, according to her, would not be able to override a legislature. So, what difference does it make if you pack any court? They won't be able to overturn a law passed by the legislatures and signed by Governors.
How EFFIN' awesome would that be? No one, not even Stacy Abrams or her sister, would be able to challenge any voting laws or any other laws for that matter.
All the Red States could enact their own laws regarding immigration, refugees, guns, anything, and there's nothing a court could do about it. Even SCOTUS, as useless as it is.
I say we all support her in this quest.
On a side note, where is the 6-3 Conservative majority coming from. Roberts has sided with the the Liberals on the court a lot. And as he stated, the justices aren't political, right?

Her dream comes true and Georgia passes a law that says no one from NY, Mass, NJ, Penn, Connecticut, or any state can move to Georgia if they are a registered Democrat and have to show proof of who they voted for in all the elections they voted in.
That would be perfectly fine with me, I can guarantee you. And there would be nothing a court could say. Awesome.

Even if she did, at some point she started hanging out with a certain group of people that peddled and actually believed their own BS and that off their very highly paid college professors. The same professors that are making some serious money, doing very little work knowing that once they get tenure they don’t have to do squat. All the while preaching about the injustices of the world while they take full advantage of all the money and perks thrown at them.

And as for her “considered opinion” in this case, it’s obvious she has no idea what she’s talking about and is merely parroting talking points put out by her political masters. The counter examples you cite are the first things that come to the minds of any social conservative - we’d love to reign in a judiciary that’s out of control! But wait - isn’t the judiciary the branch that the Left rests all their faith in?!
