Yay! Now, wear your mask.
I see a wonderful merchandising opportunity here.
I was wondering how they would get it to fly in such thin atmosphere.
Amazing.
Congratulations to them.

I doubt it’s “live.” Even NASA can’t watch it live.
Amazing engineering! But I do miss the days of chain smoking guys in white shirts, neckties and flat top haircuts.
Love the comments.
“Nonsense
This is rendered”
That’s actually very cool.
Why does the animated video sound like Airplane The Movie with Super Constellation prop noise coming from a tiny 4 lb drone on another planet with an atmosphere 90% thinner than earth which means the sound just aint gonna sound like that.
Surely they knew what the hell they were doing? Maybe not.

The video looks decimated — like it contains only every tenth or hundredth frame or something. I’m guessing the complete video is still being downloaded and reviewed and we’ll get to see it at some point. They probably sent the decimated version first so we would at least have a “quick look” to satisfy our curiosity. Definitely looking forward to seeing the real deal.
nice thanks!
