Regardless of the verdict, they will riot and burn. It has never been about racism and it never will be.
Look at what happens after the playoffs, particularly with the Bulls or the Bucks. Win or lose, they riot. Such a far cry from when the Mets won the World Series in 1969, everyone, White, Black, Brown, any conceivable race and ethnicity were celebrating in the streets yet for the most part behaved themselves.

I remember I had just finished school and was on my way home(On the bus) when I heard they had a verdict..so of course I rushed home..I kind of a had a feeling he would be acquitted, Garcetti(Like father, like son) coward down to the blacks and put the trial in Downtown LA, instead of near where the crime occurred(Santa Monica Courthouse) he would have most likely been convicted there but Garcetti had to bow down to the “Activists” who said that they would riot if OJ got convicted

Can the prosecution ask for a mis-trial?

If he’s found guilty I’d say there’s about a 90% chance he’ll get a new trial after appeal, so can the prosecution perform a “preemptive strike” and wait for a new trial without giving the jury a chance to acquit?
