That’s a bit out of reach for me, but who knows? When we actually start lobbing bombs in the rural areas, too, maybe it will keep this invasive plant from going further.

Oops, meant to say its too late, already here. (Imagine...American horticulturalists and nurseryment SENT Poison Ivy to Britain as a substitute for regular Ivy. Real A-Hole thing to do even if hostile relations!

Giant hogweed has not naturalised on mainland Australia. Giant hogweed has not naturalised in Tasmania. Giant hogweed has been recorded near Devonport in northern Tasmania, but appears to have been eradicated.

I have seen this stuff in te wilderness of Eastern Canada. It grows here and there, usually on river banks and flod plains of streams and rivers. It grows really tall, you can’t miss it in late summer here. But its not an infestation as yet.
Thankfully I have not had any physical contact with it.
