Julian Edelman was a dog for the Patriots for years. ‘Wes Welker 2.0’ retires with 620 receptions for 6822 receiving yards and 36 touchdowns. Edelman was a three-time Super Bowl champion and Super Bowl LIII MVP. He was the last crucial position player from the dynasty left in New England. With the dynasty officially over how will the team respond?

They should go with The Great Replacement and replace all those citizens with undocumented immigrants who are the REAL future of the US.

How’d the Patriots do without Brady?

2nd only to Jerry Rice in playoff catches and yards.
I remember that thunderous hit he took from Cam Chancellor in the SB against the Seahawks - I thought he might have killed him - but Jules just bounced right back up.
Tough as nails - and not a bad career for a 7th round draft pick.

As it turns out, he was the only one keeping the whole organization together. I always hated cheater belichick...and thought Brady was his annoying butt boy, but I was wrong. It’s always a great day when the arrogant yankees in taxachusetts get one stuffed in their faces! Go Bucs!

Where is he on the list of greatest Jewish-American athletes?
I’ve got him 4th, after (in order) Koufax, Spitz and Dana Torres.

Edelman lacked “explosiveness,” was not “athletic” nor was he a “fast twitch athlete,” utterly lacking in “burst” and “hip swivel” and he lacked a “room-brightening smile.” That said, he had “a motor that never stopped” and “brought his lunch pail to work every day” and “was a blue collar player” and a “throwback” who was “sneaky fast” and a “technician.” Did I miss any?

I’ll always remember him for that squirrel catch in 18 in the final 3 minutes.

Sounds like he could be a good coach.
