Biden Moves to Revive Obama Plan to Federalize Suburban Zoning Regulations
The Epoch Times ^ | April 12, 2021 | Mark Tapscott

Posted on 04/12/2021 7:24:17 PM PDT by Yong

Buried in the nearly 18,000-word White House Fact Sheet on President Joe Biden’s proposed $2.3 trillion “American Jobs Plan” infrastructure bill is one paragraph that could turn the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) into a zoning commission for suburban America.

“For decades, exclusionary zoning laws—like minimum lot sizes, mandatory parking requirements, and prohibitions on multifamily housing—have inflated housing and construction costs and locked families out of areas with more opportunities,” the fact sheet claims.

Biden and his fellow criminals (DEMOCRATIC PARTY, Corporate Media, RINOS, Judiciary) have stepped on the “law of good intentions”. Indeed, they have built a sort of WALL themselves and that WALL is REVIVAL of the 10th ammendment.

Blue States will tolerate federal zoning but Red States will, based upon the tenth ammendment, tell them to go to hell just as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow.

Of course the states gave the federal government control of zoning rights in the Constitution.

Dear Lord in heaven, grant our courts wisdom as we suffer under the weakest leadership imaginable!

We need a strong judiciary!

Moving the ghetto into the suburbs.

It’s damn ugly.

Property values plummet as crime increases and filth fills the streets.

This is why many of us folks in New England live in small towns with no town water and water treatment.

(Everybody has to have their own well and septic.)

It makes large new development physically impossible.

Bidet can take that in his “infrastructure plan” and stuff it.

I believe Greenwich, Connecticut (average house value 1.5 million, if I recall) would love having a 95,000 dollar house next to a mansion....

Not....

just what we need - low income multigeneration housing with dogs, built next to a livestock barn or pasture. What could possibly go wrong?

My little town has had this leftist zoning plan in place for the past years since Obama.

What would happen if it is ignored?

I, like several others, have opined that this is Barack Hussein Obama’s third term.

The problem is time. The time it takes between enactment of these new zoning decrees and final adjudication. This would most likely (for a multitude of reasons) be a factor of decades. By then the damage will be irreversible. Obama’s cronies are evil, not stupid.

Moving the criminal ghetto types to the suburbs. Got it.

The Democrats have already wrecked the middle-income suburbs around Baltimore with their predatory "section 8" regulations that effectively make the owners in dues-paying HOAs support the trashy tenants shoved into communities. This was spurred on back when Obama wrecked the economy and no one could sell promptly, so HOAs started letting people rent out their houses so they could move to their new jobs.

Next, they gerrymandered the schools and bused kids from terrible neighborhoods to good ones, ruining the kids of color from the good neighborhoods by peer pressure in school. Now, even the nice suburbs have knives, guns and drugs and police officers even in the middle schools.

The section 8 people don't even know that HOA by-laws exist, and throw their trash all over, break bottles in the street, leave their lawns a weedy mess, etc. The HOA boards, full of Democrats, don't give the owners a ticket and a fine; they just raise the dues of the prudent owners and hire a company to fix the messes.

If they section 8 my neighborhood, that will be an unacceptable loss

Tell me about it. Our community sale prices dropped around 30%.
