There appears to be a growing dispute regarding reasons to hesitate taking the CV-19 vaccines. Many from Dr. Michael Yeardon's angle (who does not believe in immune escape) advise to not take the vaccine since there appears to be something sinister in the motives of people promoting it. While on the other side, there are many who pay attention to Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche who believes the vaccine is excellent, but due to inevitable immune escape, they will be ruining their immune system in fighting future Corona Viruses (I think that is an accurate interpretation). Both seem to be qualified doctors to give their opinions and not some clown in their parents basement making monetized fear videos.
I am not a scientist, but like being informed from many doctors' opinions with all sides. Any Freepers have input about these gentlemen? Welcome input from folks pro-vaccine as well.
Not sure what you mean???? But take care and be wise.
Right.....you LOVE the attention 🙄
“When they do that every single individual on the planet will have a name, or unique digital ID and a health status flag which will be ‘vaccinated,’ or not … and whoever possesses that, sort of single database, operable centrally, applicable everywhere to control, to provide as it were, a privilege, you can either cross this particular threshold or conduct this particular transaction or not depending on [what] the controllers of that one human population database decide. And I think that’s what this is all about because once you’ve got that, we become playthings and the world can be as the controllers of that database want it.
“For example, you might find that after a banking reset that you can only spend through using an app that actually feeds off this [database], your ID, your name, [and] your health status flag.”
Oh there’s no doubt about it. I’m definitely a poser. :-)
Seriously though I didn’t bother reading the abstracts. I have just been around the block a few times with biotech. Not as a researchers but in such a way that I learned enough to read a paper and interpret the statistics.
Seems to me there is some overlap between those two trials, but that the second trial is testing the vaccine among healthy vs immune-compromised people instead of healthy drug vs healthy placebo people. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a whole bunch of other types of trials, such as on kids and on diabetics and obese etc testing for outcomes. What they are using as outcomes though, it is harder to figure out. The virus is sort of a moving target as herd immunity gets closer. Reductions in death or hospitalizations seems to be the major one.
Go with your gut and run.
How common are lingering COVID symptoms?
Tens of thousands of people in the United States have lingering illness following COVID-19. In the US, we call them post-COVID “long haulers.” Currently, the condition they are suffering from is known as “long COVID,” although other names are being proposed.
So well under 100,000 people in the US have “long haul” issues. Out of 325 million people, that's nothing. When speaking of formal patients rather than merely COVID-19 positive, there is a world of difference.
So sorry for your loss.
Because many people personally know someone who was supposedly in good health....and still passed away after contracting Covid.
Bkmk
Then don’t take it. It is a free country still...well, at least I think it is but the democrats were recently voted into the federal government and are in control so I doubt that freedom will last much longer.
Currently in Remission for CLL.
Well, unless he tells me something different on Tuesday.
I also have MDS (commonly called Pre Leukemia).
They think I got it from all the Chemotherapy over the years.
Same thing that happened to Robin Roberts. She ended up getting a Bone Marrow Transplant.
Stop splitting hairs. the vaccines were reviewed for effectiveness, safety and quality by the FDA before being approved for emergency use. Period.
Good go get one and shut the hell up! I hear AstraZeneca ( approved for CDC “splitting hairs”emergency use) has some nice blood clots. Only a dumbass gets a vaccine with a 98.8% chance of surviving it, not to mention preventable with over the counter suppliments and 100% curable with $20 worth of hydroxychloquine and zinc.
If you’re uneasy taking a vaccine, fine. Don’t take it. But don’t try and talk others into doing the same based on your expertise.
The kindest and most moral thing to do is suggest people talk with their physicians -— the one who knows their particular medical history and together decide on a course of action.
Just stop throwing random pellets of fear and anxiety all over the floor. — This helps no one.
Only a dumbass believes there's 98.8% chance of survival across the board. There are several factors that significantly chip away at the survival rate you're quoting:
There's age (over 60) and there are "comorbidities" (other illness) that put someone at greater risk of a long recovery or none at all --- at any age.
These risks include: obesity, lung disease (COPD, asthma), cardiovascular disease (arteriosclerosis, heart valve disorders, heart rhythm disorders, high blood pressure), diabetes, liver disease, existing immune system disorders.
So that blanket 98%+ recovery may be giving some folks a false sense of security. I repeat, the responsible thing to do is encourage people to make the best, informed decision they can make for themselves after talking with their personal physicians.
Stop passing judgment and giving advice on treatment based on your expertise and knowledge.
Most Americans have one of those preexisting conditions unless you happen to be a very young person and you haven't developed one yet.
Exactly right -— which is why a conversation with your own doctor is so helpful before a decision — one way or the other -— is made. :)
And there is no possibility whatever that the above might increase the possibility of "vaccine" side effects. If you think about that possibility at all you are an uneducated rube, a jackanapes, mountebank and poltroon.
Never considered it for a nanosecond. Nuh to the uh. Same to the tests, I’d rather die in a ditch. Same to the mark I mean mask except where I might get fired otherwise.
