Here is the actual wording of Article II regarding justices:

The judges, both of the supreme and inferior courts, shall hold their offices during good behaviour, and shall, at stated times, receive for their services, a compensation, which shall not be diminished during their continuance in office.

"...hold their offices during good behavior..." and "...continuance in office.." imply they are lifetime appointments.

The supreme court can simply rule any changes are unconstitutional. And no one can do anything about it. Happens all the time. It does not matter if they can legally back up that claim. The USSC does not care about the constitution or the law. They simply vote for what they want.

“Do you think Georgia voters are so stupid as to need you to tell them to vote?”

Evidently.

Remember the new SCOTUS will feature Stacy Abrams, Hillary Clinton, Beto O’Rourke and Gretchen Whitmer among others.

We couldn’t.

Apparently because it took Stacy Abrams to drive the Democrat wins.

The supreme court can simply rule any changes are unconstitutional.

If changes in the law are made and the changes include a provision removing the change from the purview of the court, the court has no say in the matter. The legislatures have the power to do this. Whether they will do it is another matter entirely. Historically, however, legislatures are loath to exercise this power.

Really?

The GOP does not fight?

What planet have you been on?!?

The GOP kept the ‘d’ nominee out for a year.
(Note: A normal President would have selected a different
Nominee that was acceptable to the Senate after the first one failed.

They fought and appointed Justice Gorsuch.

They fought and appointed Justice Kavanaugh.

And when Justice Ginsburg died, they fought and appointed Justice Barrett.

“What planet have you been on?!?”

More like “what party are some of these people shilling for?”

I’m not sure that anything in our founding documents matters anymore, when Sleepy Joe - who swore to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution” has now declared that he can alter 2A by EO - and that ‘no amendment is absolute’.

Article 5 lays out the only ways through which the Constitution can be amended.

When Lin Wood called on those angry at the tainted Georgia vote to boycott the runoff vote, I expected voters would see through that tactic. I thought they were smarter than to give up their vote to the Dems. I thought they prayed to God for guidance and chose the right path. I can’t believe they listen to Lin Wood and couldn’t even mail in a ballot.

I’m referring to those 500,000 people (again, at least some here)...they have NOTHING to complain about - they got exactly what they ‘voted’ for, and I made DAMN SURE that they knew what was coming if they were successful in throwing the election - well before the election. They simply DID NOT CARE...oh, but now they’re upset. LOL!

I guess you still don't get it.   "Fool me once shame on you.   Fool me twice shame on me."   Those that didn't vote the second time only refused to make the sucker bet.   Had they voted in the runoff, the Democrats would simply have converted those 500,000 more Republican votes to Democrat and the outcome was still jacked.   They did it once, they will do it every time.

What part of "the fix was in" do you not understand?

I say there is no gentlemanly way do defeat the cheat.   Our only hope is to remove them from the playing field.

Just to give you more background.   We have been married coming up on 47 years and my wife voted in the general election.   It was the first time she had ever voted in her life.   I finally talked her into it.   She submitted a mail-in ballot and we will go to our graves not knowing if her vote was one that was changed by an election supervisor "curing " the vote to make Joe Biden win.   This new voting bill will not stop the Democrats from cheating.

Imagine if the co-equal judiciary branch did the formed a similar commission about the executive.

I do agree with you on that, as the bill did get watered down quite a bit (thank you Delta Airlines and probably others, and I have a long memory regarding that). My wife also voted by mail and I debated going to a mailbox in a blue city to drop it, as there were rumors that postal workers in red areas seemed to have trouble, how do you say, moving them to their destination. In her case it did arrive...what happened next, like you, who knows?

If the EO and the commission find that packing the court is a good thing, then the court will be packed and the area formerly known as the USA will be ruled by Presidential Decree (EOs) - no Constitution needed.

Biden is finessing the issue in the knowledge he lacks votes to change the court

Seems like it reads that they can hold their office as long as they behave themselves, and as long as they behave themselves their paycheck cannot be docked. lol
