Cops come into the church and take over and tell everyone to go home or else.
This was a test for those Christians, and they flunked the test.
Boris has been a total disaster—I did not see that coming...
Except the Irish are doing the same right now. And except for old women in black saying the Rosary, Ireland is a pagan country.
Lets show the “respect” where its due the chief of the Metropolitan Police in London is Dame Cressida Dick. She is the Superintendent of the Metropolitan Police.
They would never do this for a headchopper towelhead meeting. Their heads would be floating on the Thames.
The more things change, the more they stay the same...
The new "Souperism", only this time it isn't the Protestants offering them the soup, it's the Globalists.
Not a problem, it appears the fascists won the war they thought they lost.
And the sheep all got up and left? This is so sickening in many different ways. Fascist Britain alive and well. And that apologetic cop is enforcing an illegal order which makes him a criminal too.
It’s not the fact that masks cannot stop transmission of a virus or the fact that mask mandates have done nothing to stop the spread of the virus that is the horror with widespread masking of healthy people, it’s that people, even normaly good, decent people (including cops) who hide their identity behind a dehumanizing mask are capable of doing inhumane things to other people ... and there are many such dehumanized, identity-hidden ordinarily good people who cheer on the inhumanity ... for a “good reason” of course!
The Brits need to grow a pair..............
In Dallas, the priest will call the cops to throw someone out of Mass. In London, they’ve removed the middle man.
Oh I agree with you there, it is a normative liturgy of the Church which should be allowed to be celebrated.
I think it was almost a sin for Catholics not to take a fine and get arrested in this case. Sometimes you just have to take a stand for Jesus.
According to a news report on Lockdown Skeptics, Johnson’s government gave the police extra authority during Easter weekend to shut down any unlawful gatherings. They have the freedom to go into any place - private or public - to disperse people assembling over the number allowed. Extended jail time and/or heavy fines can also be imposed.
The way people talk about Oliver Cromwell you’d think he’d be dug up and executed post mortem.
‘and there are many such dehumanized, identity-hidden ordinarily good people who cheer on the inhumanity ... for a “good reason” of course!’
and as long as we have people who truly believe that 550k have died strictly from contracting this virus, without providing context for the conditions of those unfortunate people, we will be having this...
I have accepted that there is little doubt the death total this year will be higher due to weakened immune sytems being pushed over the brink by this virus; that is a tragedy and of course we should be prepared to do what we can, to help those people, who are for the most part readily identifiable based on biological markers...shutting down a liturgical observance as an illegal gathering does nothing to provide aid to the needy, but provides a great deal of comfort to those who get their jollies strong arming people...we’ve lost sight of the real victims, and are chasing ghosts, all the while condemning vulnerable people to death...
We all have our lines they cannot cross. Anyone have a sense they’re getting closer?
Some of us haven’t had businesses shutdown or votes not counted, or could live with some mask-wearing. But... something will happen. This new system is designed to push the envelope.
Next step: civil disobedience - overturning tables, being hauled out, going to jail, getting fired, beatings...
Be prepared mentally. They’re hinting at what’s coming.
There are no Catholic masses on Good Friday. We gather to pray, so they stopped a prayer service. Despicable regardless. Evil.
No matter what the subject there is always a group of people who can't see the forest for the trees or they just enjoy nitpicking and looking for the smallest details to criticize.
Imagine someone drove a Ryder truck up to the Vatican and detonated it on Easter Sunday. You could guarantee that someone would show up and mention how it was actually a EuroRent, or that it was a diesel when most Ryder trucks are gasoline, etc.
It could have been confessions, or a baptism, or an Alcoholica Anonymous meeting. The actual point is that the police shouldn't be infringing on the rights of people to congregate in a church.
Meanwhile, in the same city on the same day you have this. The difference between the two is that the second group would probably have rioted and the police would have spent the rest of the day trying to contain the damage.
