It’s not the fact that masks cannot stop transmission of a virus or the fact that mask mandates have done nothing to stop the spread of the virus that is the horror with widespread masking of healthy people, it’s that people, even normaly good, decent people (including cops) who hide their identity behind a dehumanizing mask are capable of doing inhumane things to other people ... and there are many such dehumanized, identity-hidden ordinarily good people who cheer on the inhumanity ... for a “good reason” of course!

‘and there are many such dehumanized, identity-hidden ordinarily good people who cheer on the inhumanity ... for a “good reason” of course!’

and as long as we have people who truly believe that 550k have died strictly from contracting this virus, without providing context for the conditions of those unfortunate people, we will be having this...

I have accepted that there is little doubt the death total this year will be higher due to weakened immune sytems being pushed over the brink by this virus; that is a tragedy and of course we should be prepared to do what we can, to help those people, who are for the most part readily identifiable based on biological markers...shutting down a liturgical observance as an illegal gathering does nothing to provide aid to the needy, but provides a great deal of comfort to those who get their jollies strong arming people...we’ve lost sight of the real victims, and are chasing ghosts, all the while condemning vulnerable people to death...
