I thought Bill Ayers wrote them?
Hey, at least he won a washer and dryer for his Mom!
Too bad they didn’t offer cash in lieu of the appliances...but I guess there still would have been taxes.
I just buy lottery tickets. It requires a lot less energy up front.
Down here in the Tampa TV market, damn basketball pre-empted Jeopardy and Wheel tonight.
No way to see it on off-the-air TV in Tampa.
Mayim Bialik is the only dinkydi genius in that lot. She is quick on her feet and is warm and has a good sense of humor. She’d be good.
Fair enough. I won’t mention the person, but someone I regard as a ditz could probably swamp me on Jeapardy because she is tuned-in to popular culture - movies, TV, and pop music.
You want Bill Ayers questions:
Q: This group refused to move from their Philadephia homes, and got bombed by the city from a helicopter:
A: Who was MOVE?
Correct! You win the Governorship and are a finalist to win the Presidency!
If Jeopardy and The Price Is Right were cancelled tomorrow, this would be a better country. TPIR probably makes excellent anti-American propaganda for the Chinese.
Pay no attention to what’s behind the curtain.
Oh, wait. That was the other Oz.
That’s a pretty cool idea.
I’ve thought for quite awhile that Ted Allen of the culinary game show “Chopped” on the Food Network would be a natural “Jeopardy” host. He has a know-it-all attitude but also a good sense of humor. Allen could probably do both shows, as well, since most game shows film a week of episodes in one day.
But if Kaley Cuoco,Alexandra Daddario, Gal Gadot or Jennifer Lawrence pretended to be a doctor would you let them give you a physical?
Game Shows are popular with the American People. So, they Sell.
As someone else suggested further up, why don’t you create your own, if you are so much more intelligent and don’t like the shows that are available?
(Or are you so superior that you think people just shouldn’t ‘waste’ their time on anything like that at all?)
“Couric was the worst. Oz would be far, far better. But not on a permanent basis.”
She was OK, he was no worse, a bit better I thought, but I feel like that was just probably that he’s smarter than she is. Let me put it this way, and this is just my impression. Dr. Oz could compete on Celebrity Jeopardy, Couric, no.
Ken Jennings got quite good over his run, he was not bad at all at the end. And then the producer guy took over and he was OK too. He had this cute way of saying NO!?! when they’d get the response wrong. Like he was so shocked they didn’t know the answer!
They were both MUCH BETTER than Couric and Dr. Oz have been.
Just saw it. Oz was very good at the job.
Well, I wouldn’t take there medical advice, anyway. And no Kaley Cuoco.
Alex- I will take what liberals do to fun game shows for $1000,
I used to know all about tungsten and wolfram. But then I met this Portuguese waitress.
I guess you can’t buy ads on the front page of the paper. People will read this and end up watching the show.
It is a huge money-maker.
These shows are taped well in advance. Alex Trebek’s last shows, which were shown in January, were taped in October, just days before he died. So it’s not as if they can remove Dr. Oz from shows he already taped.
It’s a two-seek guest shot, already taped. It’s for charity. It’s about the game.
From what I saw tonight, Dr. Oz is definitely better than the over-the-top Katie Couric.
