Abstract
Background
Ivermectin is one among several potential drugs explored for its therapeutic and preventive role in SARS-CoV-2 infection. The study was aimed to explore the association between ivermectin prophylaxis and the development of SARS-CoV-2 infection among healthcare workers.
Methods
A hospital-based matched case-control study was conducted among healthcare workers of AIIMS Bhubaneswar, India, from September to October 2020. Profession, gender, age and date of diagnosis were matched for 186 case-control pairs. Cases and controls were healthcare workers who tested positive and negative, respectively, for COVID-19 by RT-PCR. Exposure was defined as the intake of ivermectin and/or hydroxychloroquine and/or vitamin-C and/or other prophylaxis for COVID-19. Data collection and entry was done in Epicollect5, and analysis was performed using STATA version 13. Conditional logistic regression models were used to describe the associated factors for SARS-CoV-2 infection.
Results
Ivermectin prophylaxis was taken by 76 controls and 41 cases. Two-dose ivermectin prophylaxis (AOR 0.27, 95% CI, 0.15–0.51) was associated with a 73% reduction of SARS-CoV-2 infection among healthcare workers for the following month. Those involved in physical activity (AOR 3.06 95% CI, 1.18–7.93) for more than an hour/day were more likely to contract SARS-CoV-2 infection. Type of household, COVID duty, single-dose ivermectin prophylaxis, vitamin-C prophylaxis and hydroxychloroquine prophylaxis were not associated with SARS-CoV-2 infection.
Conclusion
Two-dose ivermectin prophylaxis at a dose of 300 μg/kg with a gap of 72 hours was associated with a 73% reduction of SARS-CoV-2 infection among healthcare workers for the following month. Chemoprophylaxis has relevance in the containment of pandemic.

No doubt. They did that anyway, though. Even now (and then) they push half-truth stories about HCQ+ and Ivermectin such as studies of people in the ICU who got the treatments and saying “nope, doesn’t work” when really by the time you’re in the ICU it’s way too late. These treatments needed to be studied upon onset of first symptoms and/or upon first positive PCR test and/or as prophylaxis. Can’t let any disease state fester without intervention that’s just unethical and immoral. Yet that is what they did, intentionally and with purpose. Really very sick in the head people running our institutions these days.
I remember, some guy in the ICU in Brazil died of a heart attack while on an HCQ trial. They cited that death as “proof” it is dangerous. Of course, that isn’t proof of anything (it is just ‘anecdotal’), and again the guy was already very sick in the ICU, and moreover they didn’t study HCQ with the Zinc and antibiotic (and/or Vitamins C and D). Same with the VA Hospital retrospective studies. When people are already hooked up to machines, it is probably too late for most people though there are some other ‘anecdotal’ stories of people (see the FLCCC website) who were on death’s door and as a last resort the doctors administered Ivermectin and they mounted a recovery and survived.

My son is a crisis travel nurse who responded to Covid-19 outbreaks in NY city and El Paso Texas (which coincided with the rush of illegals that entered the US immediately following Dumpster-Fire’s inauguration). They didn’t give Ivermectin to patients in NY, but doctors in El Paso did prescribe Ivermectin to Covid patients. In short, Texas doctors saved more illegal immigrants than NY doctors saved US citizens. True story, not B.S.
That’s what amounts to a lot of “science” these days, indeed.

It isn’t just Ivermectin.
Ivermectin is just one effective tool in the toolbox. Other tools include HCQ+ zinc, high dose vitamin C, keeping up blood levels of vit D, vitamin B-1 to protect lungs, iodine, vitamin A. Also melatonin at bedtime. Alpha lipoic acid, vitamin k2, magnesium, antibiotics, corticosteroids, blood thinner for serious cases etc.
Much of the above is in the MATH+ protocol.

Did you watch Dr Kory’s testimony before the Senate back in May 2020?
Kory later said that the information had been brought to the Trump WH no less than 4 times over the course of a few months, but that he was hearing nothing back. I have to assume that there was great pushback from Pence’s team. You’ll notice that Trump gradually stopped talking about therapeutics. It was all about vaccines.
I see from another thread that the only non-mRNA vaccine is the Chinese one. I find that just stunning in light of the election and what has transpired since.
Not sure about your other thread but the J&J vaccine isn’t mRNA.
