In conclusion, vaccine is not meant to make you feel any better. Your house does not look any better after you buy home insurance. Same thing with vaccine. It is only meant to better survive a more serious event later, which may or may not happen.

Thanks. And thank you for your report. I found it and most of the comments in the thread well worth reading.

And, somewhere among those who read that, there will be hundreds of gullible people who will be silly enough to believe it.

,*****

Like those who are stuck, unable to change their minds or their destiny, after taking the shot and haven’t followed the global reports.
I hope it goes well with anyone who took the untested treatment (NOT a vaccine, NOT tested under normal FDA approval, but allowed under EMERGENCY USE AUTHORIZATION ONLY (READ about corona virus vaccines tested on animals and their AWFUL fatality rates), but ONLY when the next strain hits them.

Let me say it plainly...
There has NEVER, EVER been a corona virus vaccine that had been successful. Period. Not once. Every attempt has resulted in test animal fatalities.

I challenge you to find ONE!

ADE reaction

#sheep
#lemmings

Virus less than 2% mortality average
Vaccine (treatment) only 95% effective

If it’s so great, why are we told that those who get the “vaccine” have to still wear masks and social distance?

Does anyone use the brain God gave them?

This morning we took our FDA APPROVED daily “vaccine”...
Vitamin D, C, K, A, and Zinc.

Half million Americans dead WITH covid-19. Most were never vaccinated.

55 million Americans now vaccinated with covid-19 vaccine. If most of those vaccinated do not come down with serious bout of covid-19, how will you explain that?

I take none of those Vitamin D, C, K, A, and Zinc. I am age 81 next month and I can beat you in golf, chess, and any IQ test. We all have our own way of staying healthy. Mine is aerobic exercise EVERY DAY rain or shine. The daily exercise cured my heart disease, border line diabetic condition, hip and knee joint pain, high blood pressure, panic attacks, which was my life at age 55.

Vaccine? Just a cheap insurance if it works. I bought home insurance for same reason. No guaranty the insurance company will be in business if the house burns down later.

I woke up with a sore neck and a headache this morning. The headache is from the 6 pack of “Tap Out” strong ale I drank last night. The sore neck is from arthritis.

Other than that, I haven’t gotten a flu shot vaccine in 4 years and other than about two cases of sniffles I haven’t been ill in those 4 years.

During this entire Covid thing, I’ve been dealing with the public in my essential job.

A month after my last flu shot 4 years ago, I got influenza A and was sick for a month.

Yes, actually I think our children and grandchildren are more relieved that we got the vaccine than we are.

I am grateful that President Trump made it possible.

Exactly right. Our daughters insisted we take the vaccine before their visit which has been postponed for a year now.

I agree with you FWIW, but worth noting that many here think the # dead is basically fictitious and exaggerated.

Saw a stat earlier today that ~50% of all Republicans plan to not get the vac. That's staggering..but we've politicized this thing from day one, so why stop now?

Thankfully, wife and I get our first doses (Pfizer) next week..I'll admit to being more than a bit apprehensive but also IMHO very much needed to be able to get a more "normal" life..

I have home insurance, flood insurance and I’m happy to get the vaccine. As you say, it’s not about feeling better it’s backup in the event of a catastrophe...

That said, the people I know who’ve gotten their shots DO feel better. Less anxious shopping and being out and much more content than before the shots... like they can finally exhale.

Since my first shot is next week I’ve discovered I don’t want to jinx my chances - - and for the first time I’m uneasy going out... I’ve dodged this illness for a year and I’m not interested in getting it in the next 6 days.

Does anyone know how long the mRNA of a vaccine will linger in a human?

If it lingers only few months, then pretty much all possible related side effects should show up by then.

You might be in same sho0es as me. I was unknowingly infected with covid on a cruise ending on February 29th, 2020. I had dry cough for 2 weeks and some loss of smell and taste. At that time covid was not much in news so thought nothing of it. But I may have acquired immunity from the mild infection.

Since return from the cruise I have made at least 300 visits to stores, hospitals, Gym, restaurants, etc. and never even got a cold. You may have also unknowingly acquired a asymptomatic infection somewhere and acquired natural immunity.

I think it is too early to reach any conclusion regarding longevity of mRNA in humans because there were no mass inoculations of mRNA until only 3 months ago.

But I have not heard of many deaths from covid-19 of the 55 million people who received the vaccine so far. On the other hand almost all people who have died from covid-19 were never vaccinated.

The deaths were real, but the real cause was multiple existing comorbidities in majority of dead. Covid-19 was just the catalyst which delivered the final shot sooner.

Healthy people have very low mortality rate from covid. Small pox has 30% mortality rate among healthy people! I had those at age 8 in India and am lucky to be in the 70% survivors.

I had my second dose of the Pfizer vaccine last Wednesday. The only difference I noted was that the area around the injection site was tender for a couple of days. That did not happen with the first dose.

I did not experience any chills or a low grade fever that some have reported with the Moderna vaccine. I suspect that we will need to watch the summary reports as they are released.

My wife and daughter are both teachers. I am 65 years old. My wife had covid-19 just before Christmas. Some of her students had a party just before the Christmas break and all the teachers of that cohort of students got covid.

Happily, social distancing and hand-washing apparently prevented my daughter and I from contracting covid-19.

In your case it sounds like it has everything to do with your daughter...and that’s OK. I’d just rather it wasn’t still considered an experimental vaccine and the drug companies would have liability like all other “approved” vaccines. Life’s a risk though..and we all take them every day.

On the day of 2nd shot I felt no effect except felt a little more tired at end of day, and my upper arm at injection site was sore. Next morning I woke up with mild body ache and feeling feverish. I measured my temperature and it was normal. Took a 500 mg Tylenol and that helped a little on the body aches and feverish feeling. Just rested all day and went to bed early. Today is 3rd day after 2nd shot, and body aches are no more. The injection site is much less sore as well. One more day of taking it easy, and will resume my daily Gym routine tomorrow.

My bout of Covid-19 in early-November of 2020 was milder.

But how can the inoculation be worse than the disease? Unless...

“I am age 81 next month and I can beat you in golf, chess, and any IQ test.”

Hahaha

Completely false premise and assumptions by you.

* you know nothing about me!
* your Assumptions are based upon your delusions of self-toughness.
* my IQ qualifies me EASILY, as tested four times, for MENSA. Shows what little you know!
*Tennis....really? Your back spin will keep me running, you think? If I played “old man tennis” again, which I have, lol my over top back hand or forehand would run you to breath in the first set and I haven’t played in ten years. I’m not a tennis snob because they’re usually like golfers...jerks...it’s why I gave it up.

I’m 58
I’m 6’
172 pounds of MEAT
3 sets 15 chinups with 10-20#dip belt, daily. Easy.
3 sets, five reps always over body weight in chest sets. Easy.
48-50 pushups in one minute. Each.
Crunches on 45° decline bench with 50# dumbbell weight on chest, 12-reps three sets, every day! Easy.
29” waist, 46” chest
9% body fat, VERY light on my feet and FAST.

I’D EAT geezers like you in seconds.

You got nothing.
You’re not tough.
You’re not fit.
And thinking you know my IQ shows that yours isn’t very high, because you made assumptions without facts.

Golf?
Really?
Amy sport where the “athlete” is drinking is not sport.
Golf...old man’s game...meaningless

Chess?
Who cares?
Narrow intellectual BOARD GAME.
I lean on real life, street facts, wisdom, real life, not board games.
On the street I’ll out smart you, out flank you and take you out.
Fire up another cigar while you lay your finger along your nose in haughty pride.
Means nothing.

I can out perform you and MOST man my age -/+ ten years
Out maneuver you physically.
Out shoot you with either 1911a1 milspec sights, and any rifle, at any reasonable distance, related to equipment.
I’ll draw faster and put more lead on target faster than you’re able.
It’s tested and proven on PPC range again against many men my junior. Tested and scored. In close quarters combat (CQC) and defensive measures (DM) you’re done in less than one minute and crying in pain. I GUARANTEE this.

In regards to IQ, I excel. I’m in the top of my competitive field, out scoring men my junior. Tested. Proven. You made a false claim, based on your pride only. It’s what “tough guys” do only.

I constantly shoot a 294+ (minimum) on timed PPC courses.

Resting heart rate 52
5k sub 24 minutes constantly
Full marathon sub 3.5 hours

I can disarm you before you piss your depends many different ways, throw a man 100+ pounds more than my weight to the ground faster that he can spit out his golf handicap.

Go ahead and talk though old man.
You’re not.

Your golf, tennis and chess skills aren’t real life.

So if you’re gonna “talk”, back it up with BEING tough, because you’ve not done that at all.

As for vaccine... I wish you the best.

But DON’T TELL ME to take it, buy the propaganda, or be a lemming.

And don’t bring your tennis or golf scores are some dumb proof that you’re “tough”. You’re not.

I wish you the very best “tough guy”.
I react with facts, because you attempted to throw down some weak crap about being tough. You’re not. If you’re in South Florida, drop me a PM. I’ll prove every thing l single thing if stated here. Promise! Bring comfortable clothes and pain meds.

But I sincerely wish you the best.
Hopefully, we’re brothers in Jesus so that when the poop hits the propeller we’re on the same team.

Whatever you guys do... do NOT challenge Joe Biden to an IQ test, push-up contest or any other competition. He will DEMOLISH YOU. Don’t believe me... just ask Joe.

Wifey, age 51, received 2nd shot (Moderna) 9 days ago. She developed slight fever that evening (1 deg. F) & generally felt “crappy”, plus moderate upper arm and entire left leg soreness but not bad, she said. I thought her upper arm seemed very slightly swollen. The next day she tried to go to work (teaches preschool) and was very fatigued, “couldn’t keep up with the kids at all”; bailed out, came home and slept the rest of the day and that evening. She also had for 30+ hours (starting around 12 hours in) an odd side effect of, not chills, but things she touched or had touching her feel cold, such as warm water in the sink or shower. (I verified the sink water - it was warm, around 90 deg. F) I know of no other cases of such a reaction. That went away and the 2nd full day after the 2nd shot she mainly just felt a bit fatigued, still, with diminishing arm soreness, but the swelling if any was gone. No rash noted at any point. By the 3rd full day after she felt fine.

Oddly, late last night, my wife had, after consuming quite a bit of shrimp and mussels the day and evening previous, a classic allergic reaction to shellfish. Rash all over, nausea, slightly uncomfortable breathing, which last went away after an hour or so of the worst of the rash and nausea. She’s never had that happen before, however, one’s intolerance to that type allergen can build up un-noticed and then kick in with a fairly strong reaction after an unusually large dose of the offender. (Wifey does eat a diet with more crustaceans & mollusks than most people.) She’s fine, now, but I’m encouraging her to see our PCP and get tested for both fish and shellfish allergies. (There’s a slight chance the fish she ate for supper last night could also be the villain. I do NOT suspect the vaccine - too many days had elapsed for such a reaction to be even remotely likely.)

Also, I had my 1st (Moderna) COVID-19 vaccine 3 days ago. Just a hint of upper arm soreness remains. Several hours after the shot I had a brief period of strong fatigue and “a cold coming on” sort of feeling (though with no actual excess mucus production I noticed.) I took a Tylenol and ate a couple chocolate chip cookies and was fine, that evening. By about 6 hours in, only very slight upper arm soreness had developed in the outer muscles near the jab site, but by 24 hours later the “ache” seemed to be a little worse and felt as if it was on the inside side of my shoulder joint. Then it lessened and moved back “out”: Now, I can feel it all along my left upper arm, mostly toward the surface / injection site, but it is very slight, and moving that arm around has no effect on the feeling. There’s more “I’m 65 now / need to do a little stretching” type normal discomfort in my right arm if I move it near its limits.
