I have been speed reading the thread, just haven’t posted much. I do manage to pray for all those on here who have losses, health issues, waiting for test results, etc.
I just shaved down my goldendoodles... that is a chore but has to be done every spring - their coats get so matted over the winter. I have two Great Pyrenees at the barn, but I don’t shave them, just clip their bellies and hygiene regions.
It’s always something, and everything seems to culminate in March!

Honestly, the more I have to do, the better my outlook is, especially outside. I love working with the garden and animals when it warms up. Maybe because I’m not thinking so much about the state of the US.
But this deal with my FIL’s house is just a hassle, hubby does not want to use a pen estate company so it’s all falling on me!
I’m trying to figure out how to involve my FIL so I can be outside more. He’s nearly blind so I have to be creative. Any ideas?

Happy that all went well and that you are back home. Extra nice that you were able to catch up on your sleep! No sense in being all stressed out, is there?

plant some roses! He may be blind, but scents are enjoyed and bring back memories. To this day, the smell of honeysuckle takes me back to my grandma’s. I love the smell of alfalfa and even barns as it takes me back to when I had horses. Anyway your FIL may enjoy sitting out around scents and sounds he enjoys. Music is good too, brings back memories.
