When he was talking about his daughter’s boyfriend, or making meatballs for the family dinner, or yukking it up with his brother on CNN, it was easy to forget Gov Cuomo’s prickly side.
But when the criticism cascaded with allegations that his administration was covering up the number of coronavirus deaths in nursing homes, the shine began to wear off.
The bully was back.
To hear Cuomo — who faces a federal investigation over the crisis — tell the story, he’s just a Queens tough guy, forged in the outer borough fire of political and personal survival.
But his detractors have a different version, and their tales date back long before Cuomo was accused of threatening Assemblyman Ron Kim, who had suggested that a Cuomo aide dodged the nursing home issue during a call with lawmakers.
“I was about to bathe my three kids when I received a call from the governor,” the Queens assemblyman told ABC’s “The View.”
“He spent 10 minutes threatening my career.”
He said Cuomo had threatened to “destroy” him.
This is the same Cuomo who was forced to lick his wounds and rebuild his image after a brutal gubernatorial primary loss nearly 20 years ago to then-state Comptroller Carl McCall.

The Democrats have yet to reap what they have sowed. By midsummer 2022 given the fact that the vile, cruel Cuomo and his acolytes will have closed the Indian Point nuclear power plant, have prevented fracking and not allowed the construction of new pipelines, there will be rolling blackouts, routine brownouts and the cost of electricity will skyrocket. Decent ,reasonable people are moving out of New York. Those that remain will be too stupid to realize why they are suffering. Let them sweat and scream.

The other day I heard Cuomo say that restaurants in NYC can go from 25% occupancy to 35% in 2 wks. Where did the 35% come from? It sounds like he just made up that number. Most places went from 25 to 50%.
Koo-Mo, along with so many other politicians and especially so many unelected bureaucrats throughout America, has put the “bully” in “bully pulpit”!
Every pol in the state knew what was going on.

I think every restaurant owner in NY should ban him from eating their restaurant.
People should talk to the directors of residential care facilities that took WuFlu patients back.

All of those numbers are arbitrary. They pull them right out of their backside. There is no logic, let alone science, behind any of these actions.

Don’t have top be from New York to see all that is right in front of us.
Take a look at how much it costs to have an elderly family member in a full-service nursing home.
Every day that one of those residents was in a hospital with COVID was a day of lost revenue for the owners of the nursing home.
Cuomo sent those elderly people back to the nursing homes because the organizations that own and operate those facilities were pressuring him to send them back.
