While folks love to hate Nickleback you gotta give them credit, they found their audience and they make them happy. I don’t get it, but I don’t need to. In the end it is the entertainment business and they entertain people.
Yep.
Then we should get credit for the "Chicks" renaissance.
Rick’s good to go. He did a great video about Chick Corea recently.
Great call on the Beato videos. I’ve seen most every one, he really gets excited in some, Boston and The Who are some of my favorites.

The Doors? Probably one of the most beloved bands ever. And Bob Dylan?
I checked my music player, and out of 19090 songs, I have exactly one Nickelback tune.
Lots of Floyd though.
Also, I have a recording from 1938 called "Rising Sun Blues". Most folks would know it as "House of the Rising Sun". It really does sound like they were 'singing into a can', but I keep it around for its historical relevance.
Downfall....Hitler learns The Dixie Chicks are no longer popular
Oh YEAH!!! The stinking loser Dixie Chicks. They tumbled into oblivion after that didn’t they. That loud mouthed little fat chick who could not sing. What a pig.
Ah you’re right. I forget about that and my hubby reminds me what it is. Can’t ever think of Mark Twain with that!
BoneNothing is a loud mouthed commie IRA thug. He is anti everything that got him his millionSSSS!!!
Replace Radiohead with YES.
‘The verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge-chorus-out in 4/4 time is rather bland at times.’
I love whacking out Celtic tunes on my mandolin...4/4 time cranks out some great reels; however, anything Celtic played in an Ionian (major) scale tunes me out...
I’m so jealous. I love J. Geils, but in 1982 I was too much of a nerd to go to concerts.
Yeah, I figure “Rattle & Hum” was their high water mark.
I saw Joe Walsh and The James Gang open for Chuck Berry. Joe Walsh and TJG played a Chuck Berry song and the crowd booed throughout the whole song. Good times!
Savoy Brown and Fleetwood Mac opened for Long John Baldry, except he failed to make the show. His latest album then, It Aint’ Easy, contained the hit- Don’ Try To Lay No Boogie Woogie On The King Of Rock And Roll. It’s still one of my all time favorites, especially with the windy opening monologue that never gets old. RIP Long John Baldry, you gay pole smoker. Lol!
I didn’t know who Savoy Brown or Fleetwood Mac were, but they played jam band / boogie woogie styles of music and tore - it - up! I think Peter Green had already left Fleetwood Mac, but his influence remained.
Saw Kim and Savoy at least 16 times, had all Petes solo and Mac stuff, Baldry? what can you say about Baldry?

I love Rush and love Mumford and sons.
As a Canadian I have to say I hate loathe fellow Canadian Neil Young. His voice is like beating cats in a sack.
green day for sure then
