Excellent! This seems to be the thrust right now and it shows wisdom. I think DJT will spend the next few years campaigning for candidates that are in line with his ideas - but that is just the icing on the cake. Besides, in 2024 he will be 78 years old and may or may not run for the WH.

Taking back the Repub / Whig Party will require a broad effort. Much of the leadership has tapped into all sorts of money - political and otherwise. They can run countless TV commercials and such. Grass root support to find good candidates and talk them in to running is important.

I know you’re not supposed to reuse lids, but I do for short term (less than a year) with paraffin wax. You can peel off the old rubber on the lid and replace with paraffin.

That sounds great! Still, a Constitutional amendment is a mammoth undertaking, requires like 37 states I believe - plus the Congress. We certainly desperately need it, especially with legions of illegal aliens crossing our borders.

Mike Lindell's video and research highlight how many illegal aliens voted in the 2020 in some voting districts. This is an abomination. The Dems have basically rendered voting null and void. Without a free and honest election freedom is dead!

Didn't know you were in Texas!!!

Over here on the eastern border, our indoor/outdoor digital thermometer recorded a -4 (four degrees below zero) minimum temp last night. Been here over 20 years now, and, no doubt, that's a record for this part of Texas. (8+ inches of snow here Sunday night...)

Except for Sunday, our "local" paper , the Texarkana Gazette, publishes digitally only -- and provides an iPad to subscribers. Apparently, the staff didn't come in to work this morning -- no news today... :-(

Windmills are useless and dangerous; but they have oil and gas energy, if they had the processes to use this wouldn't it prevent them from going without electricity etc????

The reason large parts of Texas has it's own electric grid is related to your astute observation. It was thought years ago that by creating our own grid we could avoid Fed regulation. I gotta applaud those forward thinkers.

Some dipwad back in the 90's flipped a switch connecting to OK which brought on a big lawsuit. Long story there but Texas won that, sort of.

But we also have our own traitorous vermin down in Austin caving to the Ovomits and AOC green crap who have pushed this horse excrement thru. I could celebrate this week of cold if I thought it would wake up the mass sleeping population. But people are stupid. I spent yesterday and today preaching to family and acquaintances without power how we got here. I want to slap these people silly.

We *can* and *should* do something like you describe. Wanna leave Romney-land and come help me fight this?

We do very well because of our fireplaces and lots of wood we have stashed. But the basement no longer has a wood stove.

I just didn’t want to move the couch and turn on the baseboard heater. I loaned my other electric heater to my daughter and so the one I was left with is too small to heat our somewhat large TV/Computer room in the basement given the cold outside.

Today the sun is out, the temperature is up inside and out. Had to take off one of the sweaters. I turned the heater down to keep it steady at 70 degrees.

We don’t really have to go to the store, unless we run out of milk-and we could always use the powdered if push came to shove. We are in the middle of garden planning and seed starting too.
