I didn’t pay attention to the commercials. They haven’t been good in years. Now it’s even worse, everyone is too afraid to try to be funny.

I assume things have moved on a specific demographic watches the game or they wouldn’t spend so much money on targeted advertising.

Brady makes EVERYONE around him play and be better.
But YES, not having 2 or 3 of your starting offensive linemen is Brutal.

He got the same protection he got all year. He simply never faced a defense like Tampa Bays’ defense. Tampa never gave him a moment’s peace. Tampa’s defense game-planned well. Harass relentlessly and use their young legs to contain him. By the 4th Q you could see it in his eyes. He just wanted the game to be over. The Bucs didn’t win on the road to get to the big show for no reason.
Conversely, the Cheifs had no answer for Brady, Gronkowski, and the Bucs offense. The score could have been even more lopsided had butterfingers not let the Brady pass hit him in the face.

I skipped the vulgar ‘The Weekend’ garbage halftime.
Commercials were mostly meh. 2nd half had Bruce Springsteen in a Jeep talking about a Chapel in the center of Kansas - middle America - telling us that we can all join in the middle. I was calmly yelling at the TV saying Bruce you HYPOCRITE - YOU BASHED TRUMP FOR 5 YEARS FOR LOVING AMERICA AND AMERICAN VALUES.
Next time I see him in Wellington at his daughter’s horse competition, I’ll ask him if he really means what he says - (rhetorical of course).
Everyone is just being woke. I guess this is what happens when all the advertising agencies are located in either New York City or Los Angeles so they have no idea on what an average American is like. That’s my suspicion.
I cursed at the TV a lot :)
But I had to watch this game after not watching the whole season except 2 weeks ago when Brady beat Rodgers.
He took heat for wearing a MAGA shirt so I’m glad he won.
Usually a LOT MORE tech commercials aimed at the 30 to 50 something corporate businessman.
But virtue signalling is more important than making money :)
Anyway, I will probably not watch again until Brady is facing Rodgers again and then Manhomes.
I see the same teams in the SB next year.
But I could be incredibly wrong :)
