Q is the result of the sacrifices and commitment of countless patriots to win back our captured country from the Deep State and achieve the transformation President Trump promised in this campaign video. President Trump has said the awakening of the public is key to this transformation.
Q describes this awakening as follows:

So I am not sure. I had to do a lot of math including a discreet math and some calculus
classes to get a computer science degree, and one day I asked the instructor why don’t
they just call it computer programming? Because that’s all it really is. So I don’t have
a good memory of how I know it, and I still am the dumbest kid in the smart class with
moments of brilliance and enlightenment.
I notice that article (by Matt Stieb) draws heavily on the WAPO (Aug2019). At that time Stieb and the WaPo didn’t care too much for The GREATEST PRESIDENT EVAH, Donald J. Trump, nor did they invest much of their time bothering with the truth. Seems they left out the widely reported:
