The Democrats openly accused the National Guard troops in D.C. of being dangerous and many let the Democrats know how they felt about that.
Democrats are ambivalent about the military, something clear from their approach to the inauguration. The Democrats summoned 26,000 National Guard troops to D.C., purportedly to protect Joe Biden from rioters. They then accused those same troops of being potentially dangerous White supremacists. Many of the troops responded, not by being dangerous, because they’re patriotic, constitutionally guided Americans, but by apparently turning their backs on Joe Biden.

Sure, some have argued that the backward-facing troops were providing operational security, protecting the president from attacks from beyond as his motorcade drove by. But a look at the video shows that only some units have some troops facing Biden and others looking backward, Many units show that all troops gave their backs to Biden, not a good look for a president’s first day in office.
Beginning with the Vietnam War, the Democrats’ basic principle has been to dislike the military. For example, as recently as 2009, Obama vividly described American troops as a people who are busy “air-raiding villages and killing civilians.”
While he was in the White House, Obama worked hard to reshape the military into a more Democrat-friendly organization. At the officer level, the administration purged the old guard, making way for a horde of college-educated, hard-left politicians in uniform. At the rank-and-file level, the administration worked its social justice wiles on the troops.

Right. Folks who think the Guard troops were being disrespectful to Biden are seeing something that just isn’t there.
If you are on ‘patrol’....eyes left, right, rear and forward...continually. A lot of Guard guys have done time in Iraq and Afghanistan. You get preoccupied to look for trouble, before trouble finds you.
Course, this is DC, and there are a dozen other potential threats besides domestic terrorists.
Funny how this is so-so-bad, and 25 deaths per weekend in Chicago is not deserving of 25k Nat’l Guardsmen.
Democrats love cops and soldiers... when they control them.

"Backing" implies moral support and independence of thought.

The officer corps of all branches has been college educated at a rate wat above the corporate world.
These journalists do not do their very basic research. Who is this? American Thinker, yes. They have a lot of nerve with this.
Every major on up has a masters degree. Every officer has a college degree.
Their officer Corp is probably recruiting from antifa. Once out of service, they go back to antifa.

I’m going to believe that some of the NG turned their backs on Beijing Biden.
Obama didn’t mind using the Military to murder American citizens by Drone strikes in Yemen!!
What were the watching behind them? A squirrel on a tree? There's nobody there.
Even the lowest ranking soldier could see that the only threat (to our country) on Installation Day was Joe Biden, the product of a stolen, fraudulent election.
