Classical liberals are like Adam Smith in “The Wealth of Nations”. Not to be confused with social liberals. But what we have now is complete lefties.
Whatâs the difference between a liberal and a leftist?
This question stumps most people because they think liberal and left are essentially the same.
But theyâre not. In fact, liberalism and leftism have almost nothing in common. But the left has appropriated the word âliberalâ so effectively almost everyoneâliberals, leftists and conservativesâthinks they are synonymous. But theyâre not.
Let me offer you six examples:
1. Race:
This is probably the most obvious difference between liberal and left. The liberal position on race has always been a) the color of a personâs skin is insignificant and b) those who believe race is significant are racists. Meanwhile, the left believes the very opposite. To the left, itâs the liberal attitude toward raceâitâs unimportantâthat is racist. Thatâs why the University of California officially lists the statement, âThere is only one race, the human raceâ as racist.
And liberals have always been passionately committed to racial integration, while the left is increasingly committed to racial segregationâsuch as all-black dormitories and separate black graduations at universities.

Liberals celebrate the Westâs unique moral, philosophical, artistic, musical and literary achievements, and have taught them at virtually every university. The most revered liberal in American political history, President Franklin Roosevelt, often cited the need to protect Western civilization and even âChristian civilization.â Yet, when President Donald Trump spoke of the need to protect Western civilization in a speech in Warsaw, the left-wing media, also known as the mainstream media, denounced him. They argued that Western civilization is no better than any other and that âWestern civilizationâ is just a euphemism for âwhite supremacy.â
So, then, if liberalism and leftism are so different, why donât liberals oppose the left? In a nutshell, because they have been taught all their lives to fear the right. But as one of the best-known liberals in America, Harvard Law School Professor Alan Dershowitz, said, âAs a liberal, as an American, and as a Jew, I far more fear the left than the right.â

That would have been a bit better, but he still would have gotten blasted for sending HIS family to warmth and safety when other couldn’t. These dems will do and say ANYTHING.

Also people confuse “the right” as Fascist because that’s the European definition.
American right is adherence to the Constitution. But the left tells peop,e that the right is everything they themselves are.

I watched the video where that picture came from; you could still see the blades moving. Whether the engine was still working (doubt it) or if it was just due to air current spinning it, the blades were still rotating.

Anonymous source articles in politico or not worth much. The Ministry of Truth media makes Something up, puts it out there as âsomebody saysâ, just to see what happens or to be quoted with the weasel words , ..... according to a report in Politico. .

An organization Rush Limbaugh supported and donated millions to will now pay tribute to him ... with a scholarship bearing his name.
Ed Boran and Sue Boulhosa — President and Executive Director respectively of the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation — tell TMZ ... it regularly gives $35,000 scholarships to children who lost a parent serving in the Marines or a federal law enforcement agency.
We’re told MC-LEF will launch a Rush Limbaugh Memorial “Giant of Philanthropy” Scholarship that will go to 12 to 20 families who’ve lost loved ones ... with the same $35k award.
Ed and Sue say the initiative will start right away and last for years, and the families receiving the scholarship will be notified in a condolence letter saying Limbaugh was the donor. Typically, the letter says the scholarship was contributed by “our loyal donors.”
We’re told Rush donated around $3.5 million over the years to the org, along with regularly encouraging his radio listeners to donate as well.
MC-LEF was founded in 1995 and Rush was critical in its first 32 scholarships following the Oklahoma City bombing. Last year the org doled out 169 scholarships to more than 100 families.

Dolly, so sorry to hear you are having more medical problems. I pray every thing will be ok.
I know what you mean about the bed. A couple years ago my doctor had me go to the ER because the blood test showed I could possibly have a clot in my lungs (didn’t) There was no way I could go to sleep with that thing inflating every few minutes. They wanted me to stay another night to run more tests (treadmill) but I said no way I can’t sleep. I did go back though.
Word of caution. If they, the doctors/hospital say they are keeping you for OBSERVATION be aware that Medicare probably won’t pay for it. I would check on that.
Once again Dolly, I will be praying for you.
