My youngest daughter, years ago, dated a guy that opened doors for her, etc. I told her he was cavalier, and she didn’t know what that meant. She told him what I said and apparently he did know what it meant.
I dated a guy for several years, after awhile I told him I thought it was bad manners that, when we went somewhere, he’d open the door and enter first. He was quick witted, so he told that was because it we were to face shooting or other trouble he would be the one to go down. ROFL, but after that I noticed he opened the door for me.
Ok. As a non-dog person (I like them, I just don’t love them like so many do) I thought you had a rag doll that loved to chase bouncy balls. For a minute I thought you guys were far more advanced in your doll business than us.
Regarding dogs.....I love seeing my son’s two labs. I just wouldn’t want the bother of them....or the hair. He lived her for awhile with them and it was fun, but the dog hair and the crap all over the yard were enough for me. Now I say that I like them enough to NOT own one. Dogs need to live with dog lovers.
Haha good story. So after you told him that, does that mean he wanted you to take the bullet? Funny - like the guy walking on the curb side so the garbage being thrown out the windows landed on him.
Actually the rag dolls are cats! But for some reason they love to fetch. I bet they got their name cuz they’re fairly fluffy and multicolored. Maybe how a ragdoll would be.
I think it’s great that if you don’t want to take care of a dog you don’t get one. Makes perfect sense! I wish more people were that responsible. Especially here!
My granddaughter`s sweet dog disappeared about 4 days ago. Probably got shot as he killed deer and probably got on to property raising lambs. They also have a couple horses that roam free, I didn’t even ask if they put them in a barn, I don’t want to know. They graze, but the need a few oats as the are so thin, IMO.

That part will probably take a while. I planned where I was going to put things in my kitchen cabinets by using the realtor photos for a month before moving...but I didn’t have measurements! So things I wanted to put certain places wouldn’t fit. But I made it work.
Now that I’ve been here for 3 1/2 years, I have ideas of how I would remodel the kitchen (total gut job!) if I was staying here into retirement. But since I’m not planning on that, I won’t go to the expense and hassle.

So sad, in this weather.
A bird was huddled by our back door, today, and I was making it a bed (cardboard box w/tissue paper), but it finally flew away.
No idea what kind. Brown with a small, yellow heart on its back.

Hahaha that’s exactly what I was saying to my son! I love it when they come over, I give them treats, I pat them and give the scratchins’ and have a great time. Now get them out of here!
I dated a very nice, cute guy once; actually several of them but this story focuses on one. He was an engineering student at the time, made the Dean’s list, and my dad, an engineering professor, liked him. In the fullness of time we quit dating. Not a break-up, we weren’t serious. However, a year or so later, he was arrested for murdering someone in a drug deal gone wrong. Both he and his partner were sentenced to life. This really cute, very nice guy who my father liked.
I had a cat that loved fetch. Funny, if I was sitting somewhere and got up, when I returned to my seat she had put her fetch toy on the seat so I’d know she wanted to play. 😻
You know what’s funny? Even with the sound off, and the fact you can’t see her lips moving because she has on that stupid mask, you STILL know what she’s fussing about when she comes prissin’ up to the podium!! ROFL
what’s right is what’s convenient and that can be figured out as you use it.

I’m pretty sure, as my son is, her dog is gone. My cat loves going outside but I only let him out when I can watch him as we live on a busy street. I feel sorry for her and the beautiful dog, but the neighbor, who actually works for the city, has let it be known he will shoot dogs, and her dog is a killer.
