Where is everyone that they’re getting these storms? Is it the system on the east coast, going over DC? We’re supposed to get a lot today, mostly lake effect. Then more tomorrow and Monday. I’m still in my jammies!
A wise decision, exit. Lots of snow all over today, and we don’t want anyone doing anything silly.
We have a Winter Advisory Warning for San Antonio and close areas of TX until Noon on Monday. Ice then anywhere for 1-6 inches of snow. Everyone is advised to stay home and off the roads.

I thought I was going to have to take up drinking the hard stuff after I heard the outrageous news this morning.

I’m in Northern TN. The weather system generally moves from west to east, so the rain/snow currently out in Colorado/Arizona/New Mexico will slowly make its way to me. Then there’s more rain/snow forming in California that will follow a couple days later. Sometimes we’ll get moisture out of the Gulf of Mexico, but that’s usually in the summer.
I’m in a weird spot; sometimes the warm air is here before the moisture, so we get rain. Sometimes the cold air is here first and we get snow. But most of the time it’ll rain, the cold air comes and freezes the standing water, then we get the snow on top.
Thanks for reminding me, I’m both out of The wild bird mix and sunflower seeds. We’re in town to pick up shelves from Lowe’s. Don’t know if hubby can drive the truck and trailer through tractor supply so I’ll probably have to wait.

It is around 40 right now but the wind is bitter cold.
Lowes should have both and the price is comparable. I usually go to Lowes for it, but mine is right next to the grocery store. So I’m going to TSC where there is no grocery in sight!
Oh wait....Sam’s Club is next door. They don’t share a parking lot, though.

yes, you don’t need to worry about me. But thank you for doing so. I worry more about my grandkids that don’t know the dangers or how to drive in it. I sent them a message, hope they take it to heart.

Wow there’s all kinds of systems moving through your country that don’t show on my weather map. The only one I see is on the east coast....I thought everyone must be in Maryland lol.
