That’s a great story. Thanks for posting. I remember the name, but I really never knew about him. A very heartwarming story.
We live in Central New York and are about 30 minutes from Oswego , NY --- Lake Ontario.
Awww. Sweet.
I thought so.....so we’re storm buddies much of the time lol.
Yup!
Always praying.
If true history survives.

Appear weak ... Let them spend all their ammunition. Then .......
Hey gub, I pinged you to a theory on another thread. Let me know what you think.
“ Are the election rules and oversight up to the governors of each state? That’s the only way I can see overcoming the election fraud. If there were GOOD Republicans governing each state ...”
Good Republicans, that’s close to being an oxymoron.
It won’t do much good if states like Tennessee have little fraud if other states have massive fraud. Apparently the libs have done their calculations of which states they need to win, and no competent governor, Secretary of State, or judge will hold office there.
We get to do the final walkthrough today, close tomorrow! Maybe. The son of the owner is so goofy, I don’t trust anything will happen until it does. He has a building business and I can’t believe he can stay in business. He did complain that he has a hard time getting enough work. I know if we need work done, I’m looking for someone that moved here recently. M actually really glad out of staters are descending on the area like locusts. It might raise the average IQ. Maybe the work ethic too

“CDC orders sweeping U.S. transportation mask mandate as COVID-19 rages
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a sweeping order late Friday requiring the use of face masks on nearly all forms of public transportation Monday as the country continues to report thousands of daily COVID-19 deaths.
The order, which takes effect at 11:59 p.m. EST on Monday (0459 GMT Tuesday), requires face masks to be worn by all travelers on airplanes, ships, trains, subways, buses, taxis, and ride-shares and at transportation hubs like airports, bus or ferry terminals, train and subway stations and seaports.
President Joe Biden on Jan. 21 ordered government agencies to “immediately take action” to require masks in airports and on commercial aircraft, trains and public maritime vessels, including ferries, intercity bus services and all public transportation.
Under Donald Trump, who was president until Jan. 20, a CDC push to mandate masks in transit was blocked and the agency instead only issued strong recommendations for mask use. Trump also rejected efforts by Congress to mandate mask use.
“Requiring masks on our transportation systems will protect Americans and provide confidence that we can once again travel safely even during this pandemic,” said the 11-page order signed by Marty Cetron, director for CDC’s Division of Global Migration and Quarantine.
While airlines and most transit modes already require masks, the CDC order will make not wearing a mask a violation of federal law that could make it easier for flight attendants and others to enforce.
A U.S. airline group told Biden this month that carriers had had to bar “thousands of passengers” from future flights for failing to comply with airline mask policies.
The CDC said people violating the order could potentially face criminal penalties but suggested civil penalties would be more likely if needed. The order will be enforced by the Transportation Security Administration and federal, state and local agencies.
The order says passengers must wear a mask in transit except for brief periods, such as to eat, drink or take medication. Masks may be either manufactured or homemade.
The only exceptions are for travelers younger than two and for those with certain medical conditions. People in private cars and solo commercial truck drivers do not have to wear masks.
U.S. airlines raised concerns this week about passenger requests to opt out of mask-wearing on health grounds.
The CDC order says airlines and other transit modes may require medical documentation and consultation by a medical specialist as well as requiring a negative COVID-19 test from a passenger in order to board a plane or other mode of transportation.
The CDC said this week it was “actively looking” at requiring negative COVID-19 tests for domestic air travel after mandating it for nearly all international travel effective Jan. 26. The prospects of domestic COVID-19 testing drew strong opposition Friday from airlines and other groups.
The CDC order says airlines and other operators must “at the earliest safe opportunity, disembark any person who refuses to comply.”
Federal agencies must submit plans no later than Friday to enforce a separate Biden order requiring masks in all federal building and on all federal lands.
A Jan. 24 White House memo says domestic travel for federal employees “should be limited to only mission-critical trips,” and occupancy at federal offices should be limited to 25% during “periods of high community prevalence.”

“As asylum camp swells at U.S.-Mexico border, Biden aide calls for patience
The Biden administration is urging migrants waiting in Mexico under restrictions imposed by former U.S. President Donald Trump to be patient, even as the population of a makeshift camp in northeastern Mexico begins to swell with hopeful asylum seekers.
On Friday, a senior aide to U.S. President Joe Biden said the administration is working on a system to process the asylum seekers who are waiting in Mexico under a Trump-era program known as Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP).
“We’re reviewing now how we can process the migrants who are already in this program,” the aide, Roberta Jacobson, said on a call with reporters. “How to prioritize the people who were enrolled not only months but years ago, and above all, people who are the most vulnerable.”
Jacobson said all of those waiting in Mexico under the program will have an opportunity to present claims.
The protocols, in place since 2019, pushed more than 65,000 asylum seekers back across the border to wait for their U.S. court hearings, although far fewer are believed to still be in Mexico.
The Biden administration stopped adding people to MPP last week, but has not outlined how it will process the claims of those already enrolled.
Advocates have documented the dangers they face while waiting, including rape and murder.
Jacobson said the administration would process people “in a much more rapid manner than in the past.”
She asked asylum seekers not to rush to the U.S. border, however, as it would not speed up the process.
“Please, wait,” she said.
The population of a makeshift camp in the Mexican border city of Matamoros, across the river from Brownsville, Texas, has been slowly swelling, migrants and aid workers say, despite attempts by Mexican authorities to control it.
“It’s been growing because people think that if you’re in the camp, you’ll be able to enter (the United States) first,” said Honduran asylum seeker Oscar Borjas, who estimated up to 800 people, including women and children, live in the camp.
He and other residents welcomed Jacobson’s comments.
“Everything is changing for the better,” said Dairon Elisondo, an asylum seeker and doctor from Cuba, who provides medical care to fellow migrants.
But asylum seekers also urged the U.S. administration to act soon.
“If they don’t do something soon, people are going to start trying to cross (illegally). People are desperate,” said Yuri Gonzalez, from Cuba, who is waiting in Ciudad Juarez.”
